I was constantly looking for a backpack that would have multiple compartments, yet compact enough to fit in my work locker without taking up too much space. This came the closest in size I was looking for. It was well built out of durable material thick enough that can take a beating and handle the weather, full of pockets inside and out to compartmentalize my work gear and everyday essentials. I can also tell that the material will be fairly easy to clean. And I can carry the backpack with ease considering I'm a petite 5'2" lady. The design is cute too. Definitely worth the price.

This product offers enough space for a kindergartner while remaining small enough to wear. This backpack is not super long, so it is comfortable for a kindergartner and they don’t hit it with the back of their legs while walking. The zippers are durable, which is a huge bonus. The colors are exactly what we expected them to be from the photos.We are definitely looking forward to using this backpack next school year.

***UPDATE #2 - 2024 end of school year****After using the backpack all year long - even with the two holes on the bottom of the bag - the backpack actually held up extremely well for the entire year so much so that I'm thinking of using it again for the next school year. We washed it in the commercial washer (high spinning) and it came out perfect. Revising my review back to 5 stars for durability, fabric resistance to fading, and convenient and study side/water pockets.I do recommend this backpack. It's sturdy and the bright colors did not fade with the sun nor with the wash cycle._________________________________________________________**UPDATE Sept. 2023**My son has been using the backpack for 4 weeks, purchased 5 weeks ago. The bottom of the backpack has 2 small holes. Extremely disappointed. He only carries extra pair of clothes in there and a paper folder. Oh, and small water bottle on the side pocket. Nothing else. Not sure why this is already coming apart if it is inside an indoor cubby all day.I could not return or obtain an exchange because I PURCHASED it more than 30 days ago, even though we have used it less than 30 days.****************************We looove this backpack! The cute bug design is different along with the vibrant fresh green hue. My 5-year-old loves it. There is plenty of space inside for extra set of clothing, folders, and can fit a lunch bag, with room to spare. Has two outer compartments for either pencils, snacks, pencils, or whatever. Also has to outer side pockets for water bottles.The straps are nicely padded and wide. It also has a chest clip which is helpful because my kindergarten is small so it helps him carry this well on his back.Get this backpack - everyone will adore it.

Our preschooler used this all last school year. The water bottle pockets fall apart, we sewed them up several times. Loved the design, zipper quality is good, we fit quite a bit in the bag. It has wear on it and we will be trying a different brand this year for better bottle pockets.
