Handsocks Plushy Stay On Strap-Free No-Scratch & Warmth Mittens (Large (Toddler), Elodie (Grey Chevron))

Great product, have been searching high and low to find a product that would stop my baby from a scratching her face whiles asleep. Surprisingly high street brands and chains has not caught on to something so simple and a necessity! I’ve resulted to buying long socks in the past to stop my little girl from attacking herself but surprised it’s taken me so long to look online! Thank goodness for amazon and Handsocks! Only fault is that it might be too hot during this crazy heat wave, not really a fault with the product but sadly us brits know not how to deal with such “extreme” weather.

Returned item for full refund as miles too big - no way would they stay on and very bulky hand section so toddler couldn't fell/pick up anything with them - much prefer 'Scratch Sleeves'. Shame because the fox print design was lovely!

These were small on my baby girl - only worn a couple of times - disappointed. The hand mitts could be bigger inside. Very expensive - can just get socks

I was hoping someone might have invented gloves like these as my son wouldn't keep his normal gloves on! These are excellent, well made and fit for purpose. My boy is 18 months and the 18 month - toddler largest size fit him now with space to grow in to.

Excellent idea, purchased as a lot of onesies only have integrated scratch mits up to 6 months old. Little one needs hands covered overnight or the hands are in the mouth!

Nice soft material, too large and too expensive. I had to fold&sew to fit my little one.

Like you easy to take out baby’s hands, dislike the gloves is thick too hot.

Lovely and warm, great functionality, love that they stay on it the mittens can be pulled back.

First of all, the sizing seems to be off. We bought a Small 6-12m or 3-12m) but it was already very tight on our 3.5 month old baby. He's on the bigger side, but still not a 12-month old! We then bought size large and it was a bit big on him.Beyond sizing though, I suspect most parents buying these will have babies with eczema or something similar. In these cases, babies are supposed to wear loose, breathable clothing. These handsocks go up to our son's armpits and are quite constricting. The mittens themselves are quite thick and don't breathe very well.I can see how these would work for some babies,but we ultimately returned both pairs and instead got some sort socks and regular infant mittens to use when our son is asleep. They have worked very well over the past month and allowed us to stop using a swaddle almost immediately as our son didn't wake himself up nearly as much when wearing the socks or regular mittens on his hands and was still able to soothe himself by sucking on his hands. The total cost of 3 pairs of Socks and 3 pairs of mittens we bought was also lower than one pair of these handsocks

Our daughter has Symbrachydactyly, her hand did not completely form due to a blood clot. She actually has a partial palm and nubbins, her bones are slightly different in structure. We have been so worried about how she will function, but she surprised us all. When she turned 5 months she began to full on crawl which made her "little hand" rub on a bony area we were excited and worried because a prosthesis would be heavy, but if the rubbing continued it could lead to infection and possible amputation! Then we found Handsocks!!!!!!!!!! So THANKFUL for this product mittens would come off and not enough padding to protect her. After lots of research we found this awesome product. It goes up her arm and we can fold the cuff over to where it is more of a padding for her hand when she crawls. Our daycare has allowed us to use them and praised them on daily basis because they are not spending the day worrying about ulcerations or putting them on 20x a day. They stay on even with intense baby crawling, pulling and chewing! Plus her hand is able to breath!

First of all, I have to say..amazing customer service. I had a problem with the item I received and the seller responded to my concern immediately after I wrote to her.Secondly, i have purchased it twice and would be purchasing again in future. I use this product specifically for my child who has eczema. He scratches his face until he bleeds and has his skin all broken and raw. Before coming across this product, I put just a thick regular socks on him but when he rubs the socks on his skin simultaneously every night in sleep, we wake up to a horrible red peeling skin with oozing fluid kind.. poor kid! After putting the handsocks on, it gives the area the time to heal without my son forcefully scratching the area. Since the product is super soft, it covers the fingernails and also it is so much of a better substitute than those regular socks. Thank you Casey!My son is 11 months. I bought medium. It fit snug. With the second purchase, I went with large (toddlers). I love how it’s roomy and it’s easy to put on.I have attached a pic below to show our experience with socks and handsocks!

This is the second time we have purchased a pair of Handsocks. When our daughter was around 1yr old, she started getting little rashes on her chin that would never clear up. We were at our wits end trying different ways to keep her hands away from her face (especially while she slept). When I first put the handsock on she had a bit of a meltdown because, as any parent of a 1yr old knows, something new is also something scary. So, I sat with her and held her and then came up with the idea that I could tell her she was going to wear little kitty cat paws and be just like her cat brother. This was the winner. She immediately stopped crying and has not wanted to sleep a single night without her "yeow yeow paws" ever since. Which has been great for us because she will have little bumps and rashes that revisit and we don't even have to worry about her scratching in the night anymore.I HAVE had to safety pin them onto the sleeve of her pajamas for quite a while now, because eventually she figured out she could pull them off. And then not long after that, I had to start pinning the hand flap closed because she figured out how to get her hands out. But she doesn't notice it at all and she loves them so much I was having trouble being able to wash them. Hence the second pair!!! She was so excited about how snuggly and cuddly they were she woke up talking about it!
