Spirit PU Sparring Boots

I ordered 2 pairs for 2 different children.We ordered a pair of Medium, knowing it would definitely fit one of them and giving us the benchmark to order the second pair.Medium fitted perfectly for a girl of about 10, shoe size 3.With that established, we ordered a large pair (girl 13, size 5).Both these size ranges give plenty of room for growth, and also allow the girls to wear their training shoes under the pads if they need to.As a former instructor, these are excellent quality and look pretty hardwearing.Recommended.

I ordered these foot pads for my local kick boxing class. Swift delivery etc, product exactly as it appeared on the site - everything looked perfect.Unfortunately, all I can say is that everything LOOKED perfect. My kickboxing class insuarance company determines the make of protective equipment allowed - I had been informed that Spirit was one of the approved companies, when it was actually supposed to be Spirited :(Great service, product appeared really good value for money but not able to test it out really. Martial arts shop were excellent with helping me out of the situation though.

I ordered the large as I'm a size 10 shoe. The inner toe strap is split so that your big toe would be separate from the others. I had to cut out the divide as this was cutting into my foot. They also only just cover my toes. I would recommend ordering a larger size than you think you would need.

Well made and sturdy

First impressions.. the foam on these boots is very thick and quite firm. Depending on the degree of contact in your style you could be very pleased or find them a little heavy. Maybe they just need breaking in. The elasticated toe loops take a little getting used to. Good value though, and XL for UK size 10 is a good fit.

Does the job for a good price! I'm a size 4 and Small is a much better fit than Medium.

There were no photos of the foot straps for these boots (ie underneath) so when I received them I realised they weren't suitable. The sizing is also quite large. It was very easy to return them and get a refund.

I bought these for my son who does kickboxing and he seems quite happy with them so i am assuming they are fine as he hasnt come back to me to say they have fallen apart so I guess they are ok.
