Purchased these to help organize my home office. I ordered two sets (4 pieces total) for a good price. The boxes are sturdy, helps make my office neater and uncluttered. I was not sure about these at first, however, very pleased with them. I plan to order more. Its a great way to store those important papers or just about anything that one does not want to leave out in the open around the desk area. Kids know not to touch these too. Besides, my office looks great and I can easily find the important things. Will order more soon. Recommend (not for heavy books, light books, papers, records, etc. like that is best)

Solid file box, will suit my varied needs for files, magazines, articles etc. These will help me get better organized! They easily fit into my book shelf and on desk top. Easy to assemble. The only feature I wish it had is an extra piece to reinforce the inside bottom of the box. Given that the price was reasonable I will cut out my own piece of cardboard with a waterproof material. The file folders being held by a sturdy top edge of the box do keep the contents intact just fine. I will definitely be ordering more.

Bought these to use in my file cabinet and love them. They fit perfectly and have been great to help organize some writing pads and other documents. Inexpensive, made of sturdy cardboard and great value.

They are pretty, sturdy and just the right size for when you don't need a whole storage cube. You can use them for files, crafts, or general storage. I'm so glad I found these.

I rarely write product reviews but I must say I am truly impressed with this product. I definitely have NOT received this as a free product and am receiving no compensation for this review. I just took a chance on this product and was pleasantly surprised.PACKING & SHIPPINGIt arrived right away. It was extremely well-packaged. I bought a 4 pack and all four pieces were shipped (flat) as a unit with very sturdy corner protectors. Then the entire package was shrink-wrapped and shipped in a bubble envelope. It arrived in perfect condition and there was absolutely no warping.QUALITYI was surprised to find it wasn't typical "cardboard" (i.e., cardboard box material). It's much sturdier than that. It also has an outer layer that appears to be moisture-resistant -- almost plastic-like. I'm thinking I could wipe it clean with a damp cloth if needed. The metallic handles are sturdy and attached well. The surface coating helps hanging files to slide easily and there is plenty of clearance on the bottom so that hanging files do not get hung up but hang freely.CRAFTINGIf you are thinking about drawing on or painting this product, the almost plastic-like top layer will certainly help ink and paint to not be so readily absorbed. However, something to be aware of is that the surface layer has cross-hatching. It seems the product would be great for covering with an adhesive paper product or fabric using an adhesive spray.ASSEMBLYThis product arrived flat but is very easily assembled. It does include instructions but they are not the clearest. When "creating" the bottom of the box, first fold over one long flap (see instructions for which long flap to fold in first--the two long flaps are not alike). Then fold the two short flaps over. Then fold over the second long flap and continue to push it down until it clicks into place. You don't need to bend any part of flaps to make them fit together.

Product arrived slightly damaged. Also no directions how to set up. Seems fairly simple but not sure if I am supposed to use tape or if it’s supposed to just click together by bending (which would break) the structure.

I originally intended to use bankers' boxes to hold files on the bottom of my new Ikea shelf. Bankers' boxes are not the prettiest of things, so I said why not hide them behind a door? Unfortunately for me, (and after I installed the doors) I realized bankers' boxes are too large to fit with the doors in place. All this to say, these file organizers are the perfect solution to my space dilemma. As I don't intend to use them with file hangers, I added some cardboard to the inside to make the bottom sturdier. The only minor complaint I have is that there is some white showing, especially on the corners, but hey, I have doors for that!TL;DR: Sturdy enough to use without file hangers, easy to put together, great price, I would buy again.

I’ve been cleaning out files and trying to find a better way of organizing things. This file is perfect for my needs. It’s very sturdy and just the right size and the price was right.

I should get two of them but I only got one

This is how mine looked after I received them and set them up. All corners of both boxes are damaged, so I can’t even put the “best side” forward. They mailed them in a bag so I imagine they got beat up in transit. They’ll still function, but they don’t look nice at all. Will not be buying these again.

The cardboard is thinner than i expected and can be ripped very very easily. Do not expect them to be a long running solution.Additionally,The product i received was already damaged when it was packed, as the brown box was in perfect shape but the boxes inside had corners ripped and were bent as well, with the plastic covering ripped from the same corner that was damaged (images attached for reference). I can only assume that i was deliberately shipped a damaged pack.I do not like to give negative reviews to businesses but would not suggest this.

Over priced for what your recieve.

These are what I needed, and I'm glad they are not made of plastic, but I wish the closer mechanism had been better designed. I ripped them all at least a little during assembly, and one must be taped to keep it from falling apart.
