Book arrived in great condition and whilst it’s not yet been read as is a gift, it looks to have some good information and a good balance between photos and text.Frustratingly, the price for this book keeps increasing and decreasing throughout the day, ranging from £12-£20. I messaged the seller asking that they honour the £12 price when I paid more, and their response was unprofessionally written and stated ‘sorry not set up to do this but the price will probably come down again’. Having spoken to a different seller about a similar issue, who were very happy to help with refunding me the difference in their price increase, this seller seems very unhelpful and unprofessional.Edited on 29th November: after leaving my review, the seller messaged me to apologise and said they were busy with Black Friday sales. They have now refunded me the difference in the price I paid and the lowest price it’s been available for. Star rating amended to 5.

Read this book from cover to cover in one sitting could not put it down. Full of inspiration on how to create a home with feeling describing in detail how we read a room which then impacts on how we style a room. This book has transformed how i think about my home, given me the basic core skills to re-look at areas which are not working in our home without having to spend further money. This book uses psychology in a way which has stopped and made me think about my whole home and what i am trying to create. Having purchased many books on home style this is the one book i would highly recommend it is thorough in explaining different areas in the home in a manner which is easily understood with the diagonal sightline description helping me to understand why for me i have been getting it so wrong in my home over all these years. The photographs are excellent, how to create a mood board is the best description i have ever read on how to do this and the paper in the book is nice and think a pleasure to sit and hold and read. May be expensive to purchase however this book is a good investment and will be one book i know i will use and it will not be on its way to the charity shop.

Inspiring and beautifully crafted. I just love dipping in and out of the sections. It’s easy to navigate, it’s clear, accessible and most importantly, it actually does make you feel you can achieve that high-end finish on a budget. A must purchase.

I bought this as a gift and then found it so useful and gorgeous, I got another for myself!It’s a beautifully produced, accessible and insightful book. Whether you are reading it cover to cover or just dipping into for the occasional insight.I can’t think of a better book that makes home styling and design so fun and achievable.Bravo!!

This book is an absolute joy and I've found it so useful when I was recently confronted with all the decisions that redecorating creates. Not only does it have ideas and advice about every aspect of decorating and styling, the images and case studiess are really inspirational - the kitchens in particular are amazing! I'd highly recommend it to anyone who's embarking on a new project as I found it incredibly handy. An added bonus is that the enthusiasm of the author really shines through. Lovely.

Poorly copy edited, dull, self promoting book. Almost no useful information and some inconsistencies make it a terrible purchase for anyone seeking a fresh perspective and sharp insight.

This book has beautiful photos and is a lovely coffee table book, but sadly it arrived with black marks on the binding and scuffs on the front and back cover, so was quite disappointed as it was a gift - otherwise I would have given 5 stars
