I ordered these to replace an older extension cable for a security camera on my back porch. I wanted to switch the plug to another outdoor outlet that was a little further away so I connected these two cables together because 10 foot wasn't quite long enough.The old cable that they replaced lasted a little longer than 3 years before it started getting brittle and cracking. There was some distortion in the camera feed and I believe that was the cause. The live feed seems much clearer now so I'm very pleased with these cables.

Super long! I did connect 2 cables together and it works fine. Not sure if it’s waterproof, but I did cover the ends with tape. Hopefully that doesn’t damage them.

The cords are off-white, a little grayish.The ends are labeled 12V with the tip positive. This obviously does not matter for an extension.I did check with a 12V power supply and saw no voltage dropped even with both cords linked to 40 feet.
