Thriller was pretty much 5-stars
Thriller was pretty much 5-stars, just like the movie "True Crime"(of which I am a big fan!) starring Kevin Dillion(wearing a bad ass cool black leather jacket and black cowboy boots).

“You really don’t have much luck with Roommates do you?” [Diana]
This 1992 made for TV thriller centres on divorced, penniless, workaholic medical student Marty Hiller [Justine Bateman] who needs roommate to help pay the bills. When her add is answered by the charming Alec Danz (Adam Baldwin) it seems her luck has changed. But is Alec all he seems? For a TV movie it’s surprisingly well filmed and acted but the direction and script both act as severe plot spoilers. It’s a mix of ‘Fatal Attraction’ meets ‘The Roommate’ or ‘Kate’s Addiction’ with a dash of ‘Misery’ dropped in. But from the off, we can clearly see there’s something wrong with Alec and the opening scene of his girlfriends suicide is badly portrayed, giving too much away too soon. This attempt to make us sympathetic to Marty’ plight at the hands of a psycho doesn’t quite pull off and needs a bit of a rework [lose a *].The single disc has barely any features being just a Scandinavian/north European language selection. There is some violence [mainly out of scene] but it’s mainly psychological, neither is the lone sex scene explicit and I don’t recall any swearing so ultimately, despite the obvious flaws, this is a good 15 **** rating for evening family viewing entertainment as it never really slowed.

A thriller that loses its way..
When a newly divorced medical student advertises for a flatmate, she gets more then she bargained for! Low budget thriller that starts off pretty good but then loses its way & all goes a bit silly & far fetched.Still enjoyable enough though but could have been better.

Not English
Did not realize this was not in English when I ordered. Should make that more clear.

Bel film
E' un classico degli anni 90 a 4/3. Un triller con il bravissimo Adam Baldwin molto giovane, non il top dei suoi film ma comunque buono
