I brought this for a gift for my sister as she had a PowKiddy once before. When it arrived, i notice that the loading time for the os was incredibly long. Some games didn't seem to function correctly , but that was expected. I told my sister “it’s running weird let me know if you want me to return it”. Three days later she said the whole system crashed and she couldn't play anything.I think this may be due to the fact that the reseller here installs everything on one memory card. When i brought from PowKiddy directly, they provided 2 cards. One for the OS and One for the game content. Either that, or these units are refurbished or reissued.Overall, the company was great with returns, but I do wish I never faced this problem in the first place. Lesson learned, always go to the manufacturer to order!

The retro gamer and software/hardware fiddler in me loves this. I got Diddy Kong Racing running ultra smooth with some tuning. Everything pre-N64 is plug and play.

I love my little gaming buddy, it’s so much fun to play with and is as seller described. Arrived on time and in good packaging.

Bought this as a gift and it wouldn't load games from first time we started it up! After much time it loaded and all games say corrupted disk. Ruined Christmas!

The game is pretty neat...Has alot of games i like , some of the games have touch screen feature which we cant use cause this isnt a touchscreen console, Sonic wont ball up and spin to smash wall i dnt kno why other then that so far so good

Bought it for my son's birthday and he loves it.FYI: the arcade games sometimes need you to press one of the random buttons to play them. Cause the game will process it as if you had added coins.

The battery life is so-so. A few hours for demanding games, 3 hours or so for 16 bit games. The device is very picky about which charger it will accept. You have to use a USB – C to USB – A cable or it won’t charge. The OS is pretty good, easy to navigate but hard to configure. The N64 Emulator is useless, which is a shame because I was looking to mostly play DK racing. PSP and PS games look good but there’s controller issues and lag, they overload the system and cause slowdowns, you’ll have to enable frame skipping. I didn’t think I’d have to overclock this device to play 25 year old games. 16 bit games and prior have no issues whatsoever, so if that’s your goal you’ll be happy with this device as-is. I’ll have to flash my own firmware on it and my own roms. People buying this device will be looking to emulate 32-64 bit games (because it has analog sticks), so the device should come stock with the ability to play those right away, but for the most part it doesn’t do that well. That’s my critique. This device would be ideal for about 1/2 the price.
