Works Great So Far
I modified my Optiplex 7020's BIOS to be able to boot from an NVME drive in the PCIe slot. Then I paired this adapter with a Crucial 1TB NVME drive and placed it in the PCIe x16 slot. It booted up as it should. I am getting read/write speeds now of over 3,000MB/s. The only con/unknown that I can see with this adapter is that there is no positive way that I can see to attach the heatsink to the drive itself other than relying on the adhesive properties of the included thermal pads. So far it's all still stuck together as it should be.

Coral
As it says in the description it does not support mini PCI-E which means this will not work with Google Coral. I tried on two machines anyway but it was not successful. Also note it is too wide to fit in the m.2 slot of the Coofun GK41.Seems like otherwise it would work great.

Great
The price and being able to run additional NVME drives is a no-brainer. I am using this with a 1TB drive as my video and Steam library; just be sure you have enough PCI-E bandwidth/lanes. The only thing I was leery about was the push install, but I have had zero issues.

It didn't work out the box. I returned it and got a different one.

Will fry your motherboard!
I installed this in my Intel NUC since I had a spare mSATA lying around, and a few seconds after powering on I smelled burning. I would not recommend this adapter as it does not work and will short whatever motherboard it gets plugged into.

It works fine on a older FX-8320 CPU system.
So, here some pros and cons.Pros:It works fine with a nvme SSD that I picked up during a sale. Even the cheapest nvme drive is much faster than a SATA drive which serves great as a cache drive.Cons:The heatsink is not supported. its held on by the thermal paste glue. So when the drive warms up and the heat sink warms up and eventually, the glue will fail. This worries me that the heat sync will fall on other metal components and cause a short in the system. I am considering using a thin rubber band to help. They should have a screw-in mechanism for the heat sinks.Otherwise, it's a good adapter, cheap and effective.

Worked but only with a Gen 3 NVME
Ordered this in order to upgrade the storage on my daughters 2017 Mac book air A1466.I also ordered a crucial 1tb P3 NVME .I spent all day trying to instal this drive , I even purchased a second adapter (different brand) still no joy . I eventually took an older crucial P2 NVME out of a windows laptop and tried that . Worked first time and installed without a hitch . I can only image the new gen 4 drives are not compatible with Apple motherboards ?? I am no expert but followed a few YouTube guides , Which showed me how to create a bootable usb drive etc ! Physical swapping the drives is easy it’s the software side is time consuming.
