Great gift for inspiring artists. My 11 year old niece loves it and is using it to develop her own style. Wonderfully written and illustrated.

This book goes into great detail about the process & tools required to create fashion sketches. Holly provides pictures along with step by step instructions to create your own. I was happily surprised that she offered the history of fashion illustration. I have the kindle version & I am considering getting a paperback copy as well.

I haven’t sketched in years. I purchased this book after watching some of Hollie’s posts. It is fabulous! She gives so much detail and shows exactly what to do from sketching a basic body form, how to draw specific fabric textures, and even how to use digital apps. Love this book!

Great book, if you love fashion illustration you got to follow Holly, this artist and author! Simple and with lots of pictures and drawings!

This is a very helpful tool for anyone wanting to learn how to draw fashion, etc.

I can’t say enough good things about Holly Nichols and her book ! She is amazing at fashion illustration and teaching it in her books. I love to draw, paint and color. So this is amazing and it shows how to blend colors , draw models of all body types and how to draw differ textures and styles of clothing ! This is a definite 10/10 for me !

I’ve been getting into fashion illustration as a new hobby and started out with this book. I have followed the author on tik tok and love her work. She wrote this how-to beautifully and it’s easy for a beginner to follow along. The book walks you through illustrations but also provides pre-drawn figures for those of us who aren’t quite able to draw our own yet. I love that the author included how-to for both hand drawn and digital illustrations. She even includes what brushes she uses in the procreate app. Overall I loved going through this guide and will return to it again and again. I only gave it 4 stars because I wish the author would’ve gone into a bit more detail on drawing certain clothes but it is overall educational and informative.

Great book to learn illustration. I love that she also covers digital sketching in this book.
