Electric Kettle Cool Touch Double Wall, Stainless Steel Interior with Auto Shut Off, 2 Liter, Upgraded Version 2.0 (New Release Deal)

This kettle copies everything from AROMA AWK-321 Simply Stainless 7 Cup Electric Kettle except for the quality. Unlike this cheaply made one, which left strong plastic smell in the boiling water. The Aroma one I owned has a very solid and decent quality, producing very pure taste of water even after 4 years' of use. I have never cleaned the inside of the aroma kettle with soup, and it still rust free. The only reason I gave this one a try is because Aroma has stopped manufacturing that model, and I need an additional one. I am very disappointed about this one and will return it.

ok. so here is the thing w this kettle. It broke after a few months. The lid wouldnt close, and it wouldnt turn off. I sent an email to the company. They asked for pictures, which I sent. She immediately told me it was defective and within two days, I got a new kettle. So far, working great. The customer service is outstanding.

Kettle failed within 6 months. First week the cheap stainless began to pit at the bottom. 3 months lid stopped fully closing. 5 months no shut off at boiling. 6 months heavy burning plastic smell. Item then disposed of.

What I liked: This pot looks nice and the interior is all stainless steel. It has a nice light-up switch.What I didn't like: No "window" to see when the water is starting to boil. It seems to take a very long time to heat the water.What I hated: Almost a month to the day of ordering this pot, it melted to the base. Thankfully I was still able to return it. I will definitely be going with a different pot.

This is an elegant looking kettle. Well made and is cool to the touch. Very easy to use. I filled the pot to max. It holds a little more than 8 cups. It took approximately 10 minutes to boil. Perfect for getting ready in the morning. I would buy one as a gift for someone else.

It is comfortable to use but the quality of the lid is bad. It broke off easily.

Upon getting this we immediately put it to work. The led switch is a little contrary. Had to flip it several time to get it to light on to work. Same with the second use. If the seller wants to exchange this for a better review I would not be opposed. But when it did turn on it wiorked as desired. It’s quite and quick.

After a couple weeks the switch stopped turning off on its own and the lid no longer closes all the way.
