The configuration is absolute!
Are you here because you want a stacked monitor without all the complications of having to set up two monitors independently? Well, let's talk about it. === === === === === === === === === [Ease of Setup] This thing is a breeze to set up (for someone who didn't read the instructions). Everything is one solid piece, so it's just...(*chef's kiss*)! It comes with multiple cords, but, be prepared to source an additional output cable if you only have one HDMI and no other video out options from your laptop. [Appearance] You need to go to an tech store to see this thing in person. It's huge! You don't really get an appreciation for it until you see it for yourself, but I am running four windows at once (in portrait mode) without reducing the size of the displayed page and without horizontal scrolling. The screen resolution is indistinguishable from a standard widescreen monitor. I'm sure there's some way to tweak it, but I am quite content with the out of the box experience. However, that is a great segue to... [Configurability] So this thing says it will tilt forward - that is not exactly true. This thing wants the vertical stablizer (no - that's not what it's called, but I am using airline speak to reference the part holding the monitors) to be in the upright and locked position. This keeps the top monitor flat and facing forward at a 90-degree angle. However, if you want it to tilt, you'll need to unlock the vertical stabilizer, which will allow it to pivot, but now your bottom monitor becomes a foot as the assembly does less of a tilt, and more on the lean. There is a toe on the bottom of the lower monitor, so it appears this is exactly how it is designed, but yeah...it doesn't tilt it leans. Next, the orientation and configuration of the vertical stacked screens are locked. No side-by-side, no changing one screen to vertical while leaving the other horizontal. What you see is what you get. It is absolute!!! === === === === === === === === === === [Bottom line] So is this worth it and is it the right fit for you? Well, if you prefer, or at least don't mind the vertical configuration and are willing to commit to it long-term, this is a probably a good option. But if you think you are going to want anything else (e.g. one vertical and one horizontal, or an ultra extended horizontal orientation), at any time, this one is NOT FOR YOU. Hope that helps, happy typing!

Don’t buy unless you’re ready to eat the cost, long winded review..
I watched this thing on Kickstarter for months and thought it was great. I finally came to a point that buying it made sense, so I did. On initial setup it wouldn’t charge the laptop right, I kept getting warnings about power issues, and the displays would kind of work most of the time, but not always. I was about to give up and reach out to customer service when I tried using a better aftermarket USBC cable and it worked! OK, either crappy cables included or maybe just a run of bad cables, not worth the headache of shipping this giant thing back. 9 months later and it fully doesn’t work. 5 different laptops, multiple cables and it just doesn’t work; no signal. OK, 2 year warranty right… No, full stop. Despite what’s explicitly written on Amazon, Mobile Pixels says 1 year… OK, I’m at 9-10 months, but that seems like false advertisement to me. Unfortunately, I’ve been going back and forth with customer support for over a month at this point. A freaking month, and I’m not counting the week I was away and didn’t respond, that’s on me. They want me to try different cables and send a video of me doing it. OK, I tried multiples, including the one I’ve been using and another I’m using on a different setup without issue and no dice. OK, send another video using the special cable you’ve never once used and don’t even recall getting, too bad if you’ve never needed it and can’t find it, I guess I’ll need to buy another. I’d understand if it was A laptop and A cable, but multiple different known working cables, 5 different known working laptops with 3 different operating systems kind of points at the monitor itself not the laptops or a driver right? Too bad, more cables, more videos, more run around, and possibly more $ for a cable you’ve never needed, because that might be the fix. I work in tech, I understand users miss the simplest thing sometimes because we’re all human right, but explain to me why a special cable I’ve never used (I really don’t think there was even one in the box) is going to magically fix this? If that’s was the case I’d have expected it to never work without it. When did bad customer service become the standard? I’m not blaming the rep, I’m sure she’s following the Mobile Pixel script and not shooting from the hip. Simple fact, multiple laptops don’t work, multiple cables that work with other monitors don’t work, including the laptop and cable I had used a day or 2 before. It worked fine for 9 months and plugging back in one morning it just doesn’t work after it worked the day before really screams bad/defective unit. We’re 1+ month post support contact with no resolution, so I’m really glad this isn’t my only setup. I understand stuff is just defective sometimes and maybe I should have sent it back when it started out with me fighting it, but how you handle that as a business is what makes it worth purchasing from you in the future. I most assuredly will not be doing that again.

Great for large monitor small footprint productivity
I bought on of these for home use and after a weekend immediately placed an order for one for my office. I use it a primary monitor for pc, not as a laptop plug in. It is exactly as advertised and the setup was easy enough. I don't use it for gaming so I can't speak to that. Only weak point that I can tell is that the camera is not great so I might continue to use a plug in webcam.

Waste of money
I backed the kickstarter campaign for the 24" dual stacked monitors. The product came late due to the global issues at the time, so I had already been forced to purchase a new monitor. About 2 years after receiving this monitor, I was finally able to put it to use.... only to find that the bottom monitor has 1/4 of the area where the light is only like halfway lit and flickers on and off, causing it to become unusable. $500 for just a couple of 24" monitors that really aren't that great, to be quite honest. I can go to a big blue store and spend $250 and get an LG 34" Curved monitor of much better quality. The dual stacked monitors are a rip off, though neat to look at (just not when using unless you like flickering monitors). A few of my friends also are experiencing significant issues with their dual stacked monitors. Don't bother wasting your money!!

best monitor I ever had and I had many between my office and my home office!
This is not as bright on the eyes, its a simple setup no special arms to hold 2 monitors etc. and the best part this is the first time i have a lower monitor in an angle and it is perfect! I ended up buying my second one for my office! goodbye to 2 side by side monitors!

Works flawlessly with my MacBook. The setup was smooth and everything worked out of the box mit my Mac and the drivers. That dual screen setup increases my workflow efficiently. The quality is enjoyable. Part-time gaming on the top screen and chatting/streaming or browsing YouTube on the bottom screen. Love it. Looks stylish and is foldable.
