This is a good motor. I had a very bad experience with it at first. I had to buy these to replace the stock motors in my Erevo because I burnt them up. Literally smoked them!!!!! The brushes blew apart on the inside. I found out later, that in order to get the best life out of these motors, you must submerge them in water and kill a battery or two on them to break the brushes in. I found a video on youtube. The motors are great now... Run like a dream. When you buy the Erevo new, it says the car is ready to run, but if you purchase a car with brushed motors, do yourself the favor of removing them and running them in water first. They will last longer and stay more cool during run time.

This is exact replacement from traxxas although it didn't show the leads soldered on but mine were. You won't be disappointed. If you need a new motor go with this one.......

This produce shipped quickly and installed very easily. It’s a direct replacement so no need to make any adjustments.

As a result, don't expect much with a brush. I used trx4 defender in 5kg vehicle. burned in the first mud. switch to brushless.
