Works well.
Works fine. Don't overload. Just have to make sure paper is level and tapped down before apply the holes as can end on squiffy if not careful. Also binding ensure the wire comb is level and facing with the opening face down apply the pressure to close the comb slowly and you will get a nicely bound professional looking document that won't fall apart when being presented

Sleek wire binder makes light work of document binding
This is my second wire binder, having had to pass my first one on to a colleague. I like this one better - it somehow feels better to work with, and allows deselection of some holes for smaller documents. Fitting the document to the wire is also easier, and it's smaller and sleeker. Not that that's really important, but why not? Oh, it was great value, too!

Great machine!
This is such a good machine for booklets! It does come with a starter pack as described which is great! I recommend buying more 'stock of wire binding, paper etc if you want to make a lot of documents/ booklets. Thanks!

Lord of the Ring Binding
As soon as I took this baby out of the packaging my heart rate increased; how could a wire binding machine look so beautiful? For years now, the company I work for has used a Fellowes Binding machine (comb-binding), and it is in my humble opinion a great piece of kit. We needed a wire binding machine as we have introduced a new corporate brochure recently that was to be bound using wire; and I thought to myself, 'why look further than fellowes?' The way this machine punches paper is almost Germanic; the efficiency is second to none. Many may argue that the manual aspect of this baby is tough work, but this doesn't bother a beast like me. I give the machine 3/5 mainly because I compare it to my personal ring binding machines that I have at home; but for the price I paid (less than £180) I am one happy ring-binding enthusiast. Huzzah for Fellowes!

Good value and great results
I’ve only used for a test run but it’s easy to use and the results look professional.

A bit disappointed....
Although the machine is sturdy, well made and cuts the holes well the final stage that closes the metal ring binding involves closing two flat plates together. The first results varied between crushing it completely and not fully closing the biding so the pages fell out, Given the price of the binding sets, you can't afford to practice and trying to remove a failed attempt is painful. My first presentations did finally look professional, although I noticed the pages fell out of the copy the finance director got!
