Unlike the other brands, even the major ones, the NexCare bandages REALLY ARE waterproof and stay on!And the clear bandage around the pad makes it easy to make sure you are covering the wound completely and not getting the adhesive on the wound.They are perfect and extremely well thought out!However, because they really do stay on, it can be hard to get them off. But when you get them off, they don't leave a residue which is great!

These bandages are great for skinned knees! You do need to make sure you apply it to the skin carefully and make sure you create a good 'seal' between the bandage and the skin, make sure you smooth out any potential air bubbles.These held up SO well even through pool time, though we made sure to change them out any time our kid went in the pool water. They could be worn at night in confidence that little knees were protected from germs or fuzzies and bed linens wouldn't get messy.The only thing to be aware of is that due to the extra stickiness of the adhesive, it does leave a residue as you can see in the pic and sometimes the edges can be difficult to remove so we tried to use a little lotion to loosen it up for removal.Overall, I highly recommend these and will plan to have a good supply of them on hand to stock into car and bag first aid kits.

I ordered this box of waterproof bandages to protect an incision during a cruise. I won't be getting in a hot tub or water at the beach, but they do keep my leg protected. These are truly waterproof for me. I have showered in them and not one bit of water got through. I like the large size. These are easy to apply and have great staying power. I will order these again.

These truly stay on for days even after wetting! Work great for covering glucose sensors that last two weeks.

Got these to protect a sutured incision on my back. They are absolutely waterproof and stay on. However, they stuck so well we had to pry an edge with a knife to pull it off. Changing the dressing twice a day ultimately ended up pulling skin off around the incision. Became raw and painful so quit using after couple days. Did what they were supposed to do but for me maybe a little too well.

Being an experienced wound gatherer, I've used most common types of bandages and have found these Nexcare to be the best for tough to cover cuts. I've also used these for surgical wound coverings and have found the water resistance (showering) to be quite good.A little pricey but well worth it to properly care for a significant wound.

These bandaids stick on your skin too good. I put one on before heading to the pool and not a drop of water entered my cut. To remove it I had to use scissors to cut where the clear sticky part and the part that covers the cut meet because I couldn’t even find an edge to lift. It almost blended to my skin. One thing you should know is that you can’t have lotions or oil on or else this bandaid won’t stick. I recommend cleaning the area with a cotton ball and alcohol first. That’s what I did and that’s probably why I couldn’t take it off Lol! These are great and I highly recommend them just make sure the area where you want the bandaid is squeaky clean.
