They’re usb adapters, They work and they came a day early

Confirmed several configurations: (1) iPad Pro 2018 11" to USBA charger via a USBC-USBC cable (the one that came with iPad Pro 2018); (2) Satechi UHSII USBC SD Card Reader data transfer to Lenovo T480 laptop USB3.1 port using just the adapter; (3) Satechi UHSII USBC SD Card Reader data transfer to Dell XPS8900 desktop using just the adapter. If you read about similar adapters on Amazon you'll see mention of these adapters not being "reversible"... I was confused by this. They're referring to the reversible nature of the USBC port on the adapter - it will accept a USBC cable in either of two orientations - right-side up or upside down, so to speak. Since reviewers were commenting on varying speeds depending on orientation, I tested transfer speed using both orientations. I measured write speeds by writing a 3.5 GB folder with RAW and JPEG files from the Satechi UHSII to the Lenovo T480 using a 95 MBps Sandisk Extreme Pro UHSI card with 95 MBps claimed speed. Sure enough, one orientation netted about 40 MBps while the other orientation netted about 85 MBps. So the orientation definitely matters when using for data transfer. I grabbed scissors and scratched a fine "X" on the best performing sides of the adapter and UHSII card so from now on I'll easily see which orientation to use. Ran a second test using a Sony UHSII Tough Card with 300 MBps claimed speed, and results were 240 MBps (good orientation) and 40 MBps (bad orientation). Massive difference. So if you see any issue with data transfer speed, just flip your USBC connection over and try again. Fit and finish of the Elebase adapters is great. Like one other reviewer said, some crosshatch or other texturing to make it more "grippy" is about the only minor nitpick I've found. Great product.

A little tight, a few would not let the usb connect. Once they were forced, it worked a little better

I'v always wanted to use the four thunderbolt ports on my mac. These, adapters work perfectly to allow using the thunderbolt as a USB port. The male end of the adapter plugs into the thunderbolt port and the female end receives the USB plug. I have operated a CD player on the other end. Works perfectly! The shipping was fast.

Multiple use adapters. Good for different fittings and applications.

It's so easy to switch from an older to a newer computer. But then they have different ports, more of this, less of that. And you've got some older peripherals you're not ready to replace. This set fixes that. Easy Peasy. Simple as that.
