What a fantastic game. Played this with my game group and we had a ball. I intend to attempt to solo it next. As an aside - I really enjoyed assembling an painting the miniatures, they have great detail for their scale. Now it’s time for me to get buying the extensions!

If you’re a fan of the franchise then this is an excellent game which really takes you into that role and the challenges the characters faced in the film well priced plenty of stuff in the box. Models are highly detail for the size and massively impressive face sculpture of the riply characters. Straight forward set up, but will add this for people who’ve played role playing table top games before. Age group about right 14+

If you love dnd and other similar boardgames this is for you , excellent quality for the uniqueness for the price with the online help available it's fairly easy to start and a decent rulebook is included

The game evokes the dramatic events of the film. Going from "this is easy" right through to "Game over Man". Note, the models require assembly and painting but for modellers it is an easy assembly. Though the xenomorph tails do end up hooking themselves to each other during play.

Great game good quality

We've been playing the Resident Evil boardgame and this looked very similar so we picked it up - I wish we hadn't. Every single character comes in snap pack pieces and you need to assemble them all yourself before you can play - so you need to snap out all the body parts of the marines, file them down and glue them together and then paint them - you need to do this for all 5 marines, Ripley and Newt, then you need to do it again for all 16 Aliens.......nope - we gave up. If we hadn't put a few of them together we would have put in for a refund - it's a game that will forever lie in pieces in our cupboard, totally unplayable. If you want a fun game night, avoid this like the plague - it's a near 8 hour timesink just to assemble the pieces you need to play.

Me and my friends are big fans of the film and this game is soooo well done. Absolute blast!

The minis are plastic, not resin, so while they are very detailed and gorgeous once painted, they are a bit more brittle so handle with care. In addition the components need to be assembled before playing, which didnt deter me ( making them was enjoyable), it does take some time (and a good quality super glue) before you can get the game to the table. The cards, boards and other bits are all the high quality I've come to expect from Gale Force 9. Some people install the tails of the aliens using tiny magnets, which is a novel idea and might be worth considering.

Habe "Aliens: Another Glorious Day In The Corps" am Wochenende das erste Mal gespielt und - Wow! Das Spiel rockt und es wurde nicht eine Sekunde langweilig. Spielt man das Ganze als Kampagne, wird es noch schwieriger und spannender, weil die Ressourcen endlich sind und man sich erst über Supply-Runs neue besorgen muss - und diese Runs natürlich auch wieder voll mit Aliens sind. Wird ein Charakter von Aliens entführt, so kann man versuchen, diesen über eine Rettungsmission zu befreien (Hier natürlich auch wieder Aliens dies das). Das Spiel ist hochwertig, die Modelle gut (Kein Games Workshop-Niveau, aber völlig solide Qualität) und die Missionen abwechslungsreich, wobei sich die Missionen und die Charaktere nah an der Filmvorlage orientieren. Freu mich schon auf die nächste Runde.

Il montaggio delle miniature è impegnativo per chi come me non pratica modellismo. tutto il gioco è in lingua inglese ma si trovano le traduzioni ufficiali sia del regolamento che delle carte missioni, per il resto usate google traduttore e gioca alla grande. consigliatissimo

Firstly, be aware you have to put the minis together with superglue before it's useable. NOTE - Plastic glue won't be enough and before long they'll start coming apart. That being said, it's not overly complicated but a very fun horde game with different scenarios and characters. It's very thematic, lends itself well to creating your own scenario, and as one of my players pointed out apart from our first game, we never had to stop it again to refer to the rules. Minis are detailed and good, the boards are nice, info is handy, and I love the deck mechanic of it being your endurance - if it runs out you're screwed, but you need to use it up to fire your weapons.. it makes having rests between firefights a must.
