2lb Brown Paper Bags- Package of 500ct

These were way smaller than I thought

I bought these by mistake for packing my husbands lunch. They are way too small for that, but are great for packing some light snacks. I'm hypoglycemic and they are the perfect size to use for packing a small orange or some hard candies to keep in my purse if my blood sugar gets too low when we go out. I also ended up using them for goodie bags on Halloween - they are the perfect size for 4-5 small candy bars. We always buy too much candy for Halloween, but this time I gave out multiple treats to each person. That way we use up most of the candy and don't get stuck with a lot of wasted calories hanging around the house. They also make great cat toys if you put some catnip in and then twist the top closed. Nobody checks product descriptions for accuracy on Amazon, so you always have to expect things to be hit or miss. This one was a miss; in one location, the product is listed as being 16 inches by 7 inches. This is what I used to determine that 9 dollars was a fair price, but if you scroll down a little further and dig through the wall of text below that, you will find that they are actually much, much smaller. I can... kind of use these... I guess. But they sure af aren't worth 9 dollars. If you're reading this BEFORE buying, good for you; go get another bag.

A fine bag, perfect size for what I need. They are smaller than a standard lunch bag but that’s what I wanted. However, out of about 100 bags, 20+ ripped at the bottom. Almost all of them were glued shut on one side and when you peel them apart they rip open. Only a few didn’t have any glue issues. I can still use them, but I was disappointed they were hard to open and ripped.

Good quality brown paper bags. Easy to use. Pretty think so it’s easy to fold. I used as gingerbread man house goodie bags.

So these are really small bags. They are big enough for a sandwich with regular size bread; But I was expecting the regular old size original bag. The bag itself is seems to be a nice quality, it seems to be a thick paper. I will be returning these though because I was expecting a bigger size bag.

Great quality brown paper bags. No issues with sticking together or holes in any of them. The thickness was great very versatile.
