my relative just had surgery on her eye so could not use her glasses . she was over the moon when this arrived

It's a handy piece of kit with a useful string to hang around your neck. The lights would also be useful and provide localised illumination, however, mine didn't work. I complained and they compensated me £3.50. Average quality but does the job. Let's see how long it lasts.

The size is OK and the way its hands free is great but unfortunately it doesn't magnifying very well at all ,The lens is made of plastic and not very good it's not clear enough so wouldn't buy again

I was a little bit unsure about ordering this for the price but in the end I threw caution to the wind and bought it anyway. Having now had the item for several weeks my first thoughts regarding its price were realised in that I feel it is overpriced for what it is. Don't get me wrong it is a handy device to have for whole page magnification but if it were just a few pounds cheaper it might just sell a few more units. As to the magnification it is adequate for my purpose but again there is room for improvement. Finally it is a lightweight device and easy to hold but it does appear to be made on the cheap so could be a little more robust.

Bought it for my dad he is very pleased with it

Not very good at all, lots of prisms across the plastic if trying to read in electric light or daylight. Sorry could not recommend this item. It needs to be much clearer to be of help.

This was described as the lens material being made of glass. This is NOT glass-the lens is made of acrylic. While it has the advantage of being light weight it doesn’t quite have the clarity of glass and will be more susceptible to scratches.
