I have tried quite a few brands of cordyceps mushroom powders and most of those were extracts which while smelling stronger do not have the full nutrients left like this powder does. This powder has been dehydrated at low temperatures so is higher quality. The powder isn’t super fine, I prefer that as it adds body to my dishes. I am not a fan of making tea from cordyceps, but I love it added to ground coffee and I also enjoy adding it to casseroles, stews and soups as well as stir fries and curries. The health benefits from this mushroom are fantastic so not only are you getting a nice addition to your coffee and cooking you benefit from it too. A nice sized bag, 200g is a lot of mushrooms.

I've had a few different Cordyceps powders and was disappointed with this one. There was absolutely no mushroom taste or smell even when brewed as a tea. There's just a faint yeasty smell and taste so I'm guessing this contains quite a bit of the growing medium. Returned for a refund.

There are lots of way to use this powder but I add it to my daily smoothie. It comes in a pouch that doesn’t use up much plastic but keeps it safe when not in use. I appreciate the fact that it’s a clearly marked vegan product. A nice boost to my cognitive health amongst other things.
