Make Gas Cans Great Again!
If you hate the Green New Gas Cans, you will love this kit to retrofit you cans to party like it was 1999! It took about one minute per can to "upgrade" them. Use the enclosed drill bit to drill a hole in the top back of the can (don't let shavings fall inside), and plug in the new vent cap from this kit. When open, this vent will prevent your fuel from gurgling and sloshing out when dispensing. Next remove the existing cap (the one where you have to hold three levers at once to pour) and toss it. If there is a white plastic screen thing inside the hole, you can use a flathead screwdriver and needle nose pliers to just pry it out in about 10 seconds. (It is probably a safety device, and prevents you from putting diesel in a gas can and vice versa, but usually causes fuel to splash back out on me when filling.) Then place the appropriate threaded cap over the spout from this kit and you're good to go. Just did a test pour and didn't lose a single drop. Note that this kit will upgrade 3 cans (not 6) -- some of the parts are redundant adapters included to fit different types of cans. Bonus hint: If you are using a heavy (5-gallon) can in an awkward spot (for me, filling my tractor with diesel), you can get a battery-powered siphon on Amazon. The suck-end goes in the can and the other end is like a gas station fuel pump handle. Note that this will not work with the white plastic "safety" screen inside the gas can which is another reason I remove them. Happy Fueling!

Finally!!
I have a collection of gas cans from 2 gallons up to some monstrosity thing that holds more gas than mere mortals can lift - why that man thought it was a good idea is anybody's guess. Due to his disability I am now in charge of gassing the zero turn and hauling the gas cans back and forth so I went back to 2 gallon containers. Enter the Spectre cans. I have been 'safety'd' to death and those cans are a nightmare, they looked so harmless, who knew. I only have 2 hands and it takes 3 hands and a bowl of Wheaties for breakfast to operate the safety stuff on the nozzle. I bought this set of nozzles as a last resort before adding the latest stupid container purchases to the containers going out to the road for adoption. These nozzles are the bomb! I have had no leaks and the little woman here can haul gas and fuel the mower herself. This set includes caps to fit most threads so if you hate your gas cans, try these before throwing the cans out, they literally take you back to the good old days of plain old "un-Ralph-Nader-ed" gas cans without having the weight of the old metal cans.

Great quality, very sturdy. Recommend and would buy again.
Perfect fit for my cans. It was very helpful that both sizes (fine and course thread) of can nuts are included. I have about 10 gas cans and none of them indicate which thread they are.I particularly like the semi transparent spouts so that I can see how fast the gas it flowing into the equipment’s tank. I did not need to make use of the drill bit or vents, so, I cannot comment on these. The plastic on all the parts is of good quality and, in the case of the spout, flexible but not too flexible. The design of the old spouts I was replacing had a metal screen molded into the can end of the spout to prevent any debris that might have gotten into the gas can from getting into your engine’s gas tank. It would have been really nice if these spouts would have had the extra feature. Deducted one star.

Inexpensive and effective cure for a can with a bad pouring device
I have three Scepter 5 gallon gas cans that were completely worthless because of the "Smart Control," pouring device. Rumor has it that the device was invented by Rube Goldberg's nephew. I was about to just toss the three cans until I searched Amazon for these spouts and ordered them. The kit comes with three spouts and six potential screw-on caps. Three are coarse thread and three are fine thread. The coarse thread fit my cans. I used the included drill bit to drill a hole for the vent cap and inserted the vent caps in the cans. I was concerned the vent cap might leak. I filled on of the cans with non-ethanol gas to take to my farm. As a test I laid the can on its side. There was no leak at the vent cap, no leak at the screw-on cap, and not leak at the small cap on the top of the spout. Couldn't believe it. A simple, quick, and effective fix for a real problem.

Gives life to your old cans with broken spouts and makes new ones usable
Very impressive kit. I had a couple of old cans that had broken threaded rings (whatever they're called) and missing end caps so this kit helped make them like new. It also makes the newer designs actually usable. Every "safety style" can I've got has been extra unsafe because gas spills out or it doesn't shut off all the way or something. This is simple and it works.

Perfect
One of the best purchases I've made in years because these rotten regulated gas cans are so difficult to use that we typically have to just remove the spout and pour it out of the can but with these new spouts it's like I have new gas cans!

Should have bought long ago
Been great for me so far. I hate the new gas container spouts. They're ok for certain things but for others make it such a pain i never want to use them ever again honestly. This fixes that. Gas flows now. Fixed 2 old containers that were leaking around spout with this kit and replaced everything and drilled hole on new container because i absolutely hated the spout that requires 3 hands to pour gas out. Thats usless for me when im trying to hold up a 5 gal jug and pour fuel into my tractor. It takes so long with old spout its rediculus. So yes this fixes all those stupid issues with these new containers. Ill be buying another shortly to fix others i have. I had spent 30 on a container that i hate, but spent 10 on this to fix it plus 2 others. So the 10 is well spent in my opinion. I could have saved 30 and just fixed my old containers. Yes im happy with this product
