Thought I’d never get this screen plug out this easy! These things work great. 2hrs of frustration prior to having these which only took a few light taps to get it to bite down and 1 twist of the ratchet and my problem was solved! Great tools to have around that that’s for sure! I highly recommend it

The oil drain bolt heat was worn down & a socket would not work. Tried other was to loosen it but nothing worked. The bolt extractor worked great! Highly recommend this product.

Only needed one bolt extractor socket to remove a single bolt with rounded head. It worked perfectly in removing the bolt. The socket teeth gripped the bolt without slipping.

Worked well. Was able to extract a stripped oil pan drain bolt from a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. I tapped the bolt extractor onto the bolt gently with a hammer, and the bolt came out with some force using a ratchet.

This kit saved me an expensive and embarrassing trip to a mechanic. My Honda ADV150 scooter has a cover for the oil screen that should be removed when doing an oil change. The cover is made of soft aluminum, with a short 17mm hex head built in. I managed to round off the corners of the hex head with a traditional 17 mm socket, see pictures. The rounded corners made it impossible to remove with a 17 mm wrench or socket. Desperate attempts followed including using vice grips, channel lock pliers, heating the metal, etc. My last ditch effort was this 13+1 bolt extractor kit, which was on sale for less than $20. Although the hex head was 17mm originally, the aluminum was damaged through the various hamfisted attempts with inappropriate tools, and the 17mm socket in this kit was now too large. So I hammered the 16mm socket onto the hex head, forcing the socket to "bite" into the aluminum. Once that socket was hammered into place, in less than 10 seconds I was able to loosen the cover using a socket wrench, allowing for easy removal. I was honestly at wits end, and this kit saved the day. I can't recommend this kit highly enough. Simply awesome.

I’ve had some stripped bolts that caused me a lot of time and effort to no avail. This product easily took care of the stripped bolts and I was able to replace them!
