This adapter seems durable, being made of injection molded plastic and allows use of older USB devices with USB-C cables, particularly in instances where the host device only has USB-C ports. It literally only converts an USB A to USB C to USB B Mini, functionally equivalent to USB A to USB B Mini original peripheral cables, so you can use older devices. NOTE: There is an USB B Mini OTG connector that looks similar that allows a device to act as a host or client. This adapter is the original peripheral only type not the OTG variant

I picked up this 2-pack of USB-C to Mini USB adapters to connect some of my older devices to my newer Mac Mini, and they’ve been a perfect fit. I’m currently using one to hook up my external mic, and it works flawlessly. No connection drops, no lag, just plug-and-play simplicity. The build quality feels solid, and it doesn’t wiggle or disconnect easily like some cheaper adapters I’ve tried in the past. Data and charging both work as expected, and it's great that they come in a 2-pack so I can keep one as a backup. If you have legacy devices, such as a GoPro Hero 3+, old MP3 players, or, in my case, a microphone with a Mini USB port, this is exactly the small adapter you need. Highly recommend.

Absolutely worth it so I don't have to swap cables anytime I use legacy devices

I am not going to make this a long review. Trust me, if you need to connect anything with USB Mini-B to a charger or for data transfer, buy these and throw away all those old cables that make your drawer look like a lunatic lives there. Then, you can have peaceful drawers and use your USB-C cable to connect your old device with the same cable your new phone uses. These are well made, engage both the port and the cable snugly, and didn't falter when hooked up to a 65-watt laptop charger that I use to charge pretty much everything I own. It's nice to have these around so I never worry about having a cable compatible with my old wireless headphones, and the Phillips Vibe MP3 player I actually still use. They're really a must-have for any OCD neat freak with old USB devices.

Tengo tres micrófonos de marcas distintas y ninguno tuvo la señal. Pésimo, no lo recomiendo. Además vienen en unas bolsitas, sin ningún tipo de protección. PUBLICIDAD ENGAÑOSA!

I am only using this for charging remote microphones for my hearing aids. I haven't tried data. They work fine as charging adaptors.

The product does not work too loose fitting very poor quality I don't even believe there's anything inside
