Fantastic update to an old favorite
I found my original G2 toy in storage and gave it to my nephew. He was a big fan of the classic Beachcomber and I was very surprised to see an update for the new YouTube mini series. This toy Is an amazing update on every way. The transformation still simple and easy, but he's much more flexible and more show-accurate. He has an awesome stance for such a small figure. A must buy for children (and man/woman-children)

I'd recommend this to anybody, a great update to the original, with good articulation, good style, and a neat transformation.

An excellent job.
Beachcomber looks good in both modes. His transformation is easy but quite well done: everything fits easily and there are no pieces prone to popping out or refusing to stay in place. I'd say he's probably the best Legends Class figure in the last three years at least.

Sturdy, looks great
Easy enough to transform, my 3 year old son loves it. Seems like a very sturdy line compared to some other Transformers toys.

Smaller than I thought
Gave it a 4 bc it was smaller than I thought it would be. Otherwise looked good to me.

Cartoon details.
Bought this Beachcomber to replace a Gen 2 my son broke. He likes this one better as it is bigger in size and more true to the cartoon.

Good homage to the original G1 toy
This Legends class figure offers a good homage to the original G1 toy (which was considerably smaller) and with the added size their are greater points of articulation and the ability to carry as a driver either a Titan Master or Prime Master figure. It's a fun and simple transformation that younger children and collectors alike will enjoy
