I'm a big fan of meal replacement shakes for weight loss. They make it easier to maintain a calorie deficit without counting every single calorie, all while giving you a nutritionally complete meal. Plus, they're quick to prepare when you're busy or just can't be bothered with a traditional lunch. This was my first try of Protein Works' offerings, I chose the 1kg Millionaire's Shortbread flavour during a sale instead of my usual Huel to test it out. It offered noticeably better value for money, and also a slightly lower calorie count per two-scoop serving (around 250 kcal compared to Huel's ~400 kcal per comparable serving), which I figured might be better for where I'm at with my diet right now. I'm genuinely very pleased with both the flavour and texture, it seems like a good quality powder to me. It mixes well in my Huel shaker (though not quite as well in my Shakesphere shaker, probably because it lacks a strainer). I don't notice much of a smell from the powder, it's quite subtle. The Millionaire's Shortbread taste definitely comes through, even if it has a slight oaty note, and it genuinely helps to satiate that craving for a sweet treat without actually being one. Of the two Protein Works flavours I've tried, the other being Caramel Macchiato, this is my favourite. I'd happily switch to this from Huel now. It offers better value per meal, especially when you catch it on sale, and tastes great.

It’s taste lovely, easy dissolve the powder but the problem I don’t get the measure spoon

Tastes good. Brought as i work 12 hoir shifts and never eat. Easier to make a double helping in a one litre bottle and have a few gulps on each of my break times.

Whenever I've tried meal replacements in the past I've not enjoyed them but I honestly like the banana smooth flavour, I've only used water when having it twice a day and a physical meal for lunch. It certainly fills me up for around four hours. If you worry about getting lumps of powder in your shake, you can either shake it for longer, or use a blender, or even do what I do which is use a tea strainer and pour it into a plastic cup to catch any clumps. Honestly I think banana smooth tastes like banana milkshake even with water but has a slight Weetabix type taste which isn't.a bad thing. I enjoy this and started with 1kg and then brought the 2kg when I realised I liked it. I've purchased a few other flavours since like millionaire shortbread that smells like cookies lol. This is deffo worth a buy and you'll drop weight fairly quickly and reasonably if you have a balanced diet as well

I tested the powder first on my finger and it has a great taste! Very nice and flavourful banana. I'm trying a few different shakes out to see if I can lose the little belly I've gained. I work out 3 times a week which involves weight lifting, ab routine and cardio. I'm also trying to actively reduce my snacking on sweets which is the main culprit of the belly. I mix 2 scoops in 300ml - 50ml less because I wanted to be sure it was thick enough and that's exactly how I like my shakes. It does have a slightly powdery texture but it's still very smooth and tasty. I started drinking my first one at 6:08pm and finished at 6:30pm It kept me full for 2½ - 3 hours which is what I'd hoped for. I was replacing my main dinner with this shake for the entire bag which had 12 servings of 2 scoops(70g) Weight before: 12St 10 - 80.7KG Weight after: 12St 5 - 78.4KG Total loss of 2.3KG - 5lbs - 81oz in 12 days. Started 26 Nov and my last shake was Dec 7th. £10 for 1KG (12 days of 1 dinner replaced per day) really isn't a bad deal at all as that averages £5 per week for dinner. I'll definitely be trying out another flavour soon, I really liked this product!

Of all protein shakes, and I shake a lot of those, this one has the nicest consistency and taste. Mixes like a charm, total value for your buck and it keeps the hunger at bay, I take mine to work. Will definitely order more of these.
