I really like how easy this is to use around my hair. I always struggled using any curling iron with a clamp, let alone achieving that “beach wave” look. I originally bought the 1.25 barrel because it was more recommended for longer hair, however, the curls felt out in minutes. I was really disappointed. The B1, however, is the perfect size- it just takes a wee bit longer though because you have to work with smaller sections of hair. But the curls LAST! And I love that the look can be brushed out to a more beach wave look and it still holds well throughout the day. I would recommend!

I don’t ever write reviews but let me tell you I can’t do my own hair and this was exactly what I needed it worked so good for my hair and helped me style my hair! Heats up super quick and super easy to use!! Definitely recommend for any girls who struggle with doing their own hair!

I have very fine hair . I have tried every popular,curling iron . I bought the one that my hair dresser recommended and it sits unused as it was sub par with not the result i wanted. From high end to iconic drug store varieties. Nothing worked as my hair is very fine and simply will not hold a curl all day . I had a previous beach waver that had worked just as well ,but lasted only 2 years . The company was great and sent me another and that worked beautifully. Until it broke . I chose a more simple model based on the reviews . I have very long hair almost touching my waist. I use a good volume mouse on wet hair after washing ( careful to not overdo the conditioner) Blow dry then apply a texture spray. Then section and curl . Allow to cool off and use a WORKING hair spray . Not a stiff hair spray if you intend to comb through it or loosely run fingers through hair after it cools . If the humidity is lower ( in winter) You will have a good curl all day ending In an even more flattering wave. In summer it is still some what of a challenge. But I still have better results than the 11 highly tested top of the line curling irons as I do with the beach waver . I got the pink/ lavender one and it is do pretty . It makes me so happy to finally achieve a good result.

I wanted to love the beachwaver, but the results were lackluster. I bought myself the beachwaver to give myself another tool to style my hair. I wanted something that would speed up the process, especially for busy college mornings. I love how useful this tool can be for people with disabilities or those who don't use regular curling irons. However, this tool didn't give me the pretty waves I saw online. At first, you'll have a nice curl (as you can see in my photo). After some time, this little wave will not stay in your hair. I used heat protectant and a hairspray to keep my waves in place, but they all fell out over the course of the day. This is abnormal for my hair type; when I use a curling wand or a regular curler, the results can last the whole day. I'm not sure what went wrong :( I used the highest heat setting too. I'm sure this product will work for some, but it did not work for me. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: - I did love how fast curling can be because of the rotating barrel. - I did not burn myself :) (I've burned myself with a wand before lol) - the product itself is really cute! (which is why I feel bad that I dislike it) Cons: - For me personally, the curls/waves did not last, even with products to keep the curls in place. (I used the same products I use that usually give me long lasting results). I tried the low heat setting, medium, high... nothing. - heating time takes a while when you first turn it on - hair can get stuck in the clamp - the clamp itself feels it will detach with continued use - since the curls start from top to bottom, you are harming your hair in the long run. The ends of your hair are the most delicate, and they will get the most heat when you use this. - I feel that using a curling wand is somehow faster than using this iron?? Maybe it's because it was my first time using it, but it took some adjusting to curl my full head of hair. Beachwaver, I love your aesthetics and marketing. However, I unfortunately do not like your product. It is not worth the price for me. I would have felt less inclined to rate it a 2 if it was more affordable. I am returning this product, which sucks. I wanted to have the cute waves I saw girls do on tiktok.
