too boring. Very disappointing
After reading half of the book, skipped to the last chapter. No surprise at the ending, too drawn out, too obvious, too boring. Very disappointing.

I loved Lisa Hall's debut 'Between You and Me'
I loved Lisa Hall's debut 'Between You and Me', so I was really looking forward to getting stuck into this one.It was another great book although I have to admit I was gutted with the ending so I hope there is a follow on book.Steph moves into a new home with her husband and is expecting her second child. The idea was to start over, after her husband had an affair. Unfortunately life is not so simple for Steph, she suffered an attack a long time ago and begins to get very scared when things start happening after they moved.Loved this book and definitely worthy of 5 stars.

let down
it may be that the author has a follow up story planned..but without any spoilers..the ending was a let down for me. The main character was hard work. She was a frustrating character who I really had zero sympathy for and no patience with as she came over as being infuriatingly dimwitted and oblivious as to who the protagonist was. Sorry, disappointed ..skimmed over a lot as it got closer to the end....only to be left thinking..what was the point.

Disappointing
I really wanted to enjoy this book after reading her first but for me, sadly, it fell a bit flat. There is no doubt that Lisa Hall is a great writer and she has a real talent for creating dislikeble characters who really get under your skin, there is one character in this book called Jasmine, who was that character, but her latest book failed to grip me as her first one did. Perhaps I did set the bar too high after reading Between You And Me as that book really was exceptional. There wasn't a character in this book who I felt I could get behind and I did manage to guess the twist early on. I also felt that there were a few loose ends that weren't tied up and I was expecting there to be more from the ending. Although I didn't enjoy this one it doesn't mean that I won't give her next book a go, I do enjoy Lisa's writing so I'll be interested to see what she comes up with next.

No twist at the end, obvious whodunnit!
i thoroughly enjoyed this authors previous book and was so looking forward to this one, how disappointing! I didnt think the obvious person could be the baddy, that would be too easy, so was looking forward to the twist at the end, which never came. Am assuming laurance told Mark and the police !?!

Enjoyable page turner... Holiday reading
I never know what to put in these things, that said....This is the third book by Lisa Hall I have read, the first being The Party, a recommendation off a TV book club.This book is a well written page turner, that does not require to much thought from the reader as it trundles along at a decent pace.Lots of clues as to who the villan(s) are. With believable characters and dialogue. Settings in modern life ring true also.As with other books by Lisa Hall I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a tense drama with a puzzle to solve....

a must buy- must read
Lisa Hall is one the UK'S best psychological thriller authors. If there is one author that I would recommend to family, friends and bloggers Lisa Hall is it. I read Between You and Me, and now I have read Tell Me No Lies. Both come highly recommend from me. I can't wait to buy the next novel buy Lisa Hall. In Tell Me No Lies. Pregnant Stephanie and her husband Mark and son Henry have moved into a new house. A new house is the perfect fresh start for Stephanie and Mark's marriage. But it isn't long before her husbands has to start spending weeks away from their new home. Neighbours introduce them self to Stephanie. You know the drill don't you all, Don't trust anyone. I would love to say more, but please take it from me a lot of creepy things are about to happen while Stephanie is waiting for her husband to return home.Review from ireadnovels.wordpress com

Just wow!
No doubt about it, Lisa Hall writes amazing books! Her debut novel was fantastic with one of the greatest twists and Tell Me No Lies is her latest offering. I was gripped from the first page. Well written, with lots of plot twists and turns. I'm still struggling to catch my breath even though I finished this book in the early hours of the morning! One you start, you can't stop!! Most definitely one to recommend.
