Great
Fit perfect. Mounted the sight great. Doesn’t affect the appearance much. Very sturdy.

Works great. Additional materials needed
Once you order this, also be sure to pick up some blue loctite, and a sight removal tool It will make removal of your existing sights and installation of this sight a breeze. Was able to mount a Vortex Venom in less than five minutes with this mount on a model 19. Does not add significant bulk compared to the lock in mount provided by Vortex, which is great!

BUY. A+
this is a GREAT Mount I put double sided tape between the bottom of the mount and the top of the gun and then screwed it on and it was solid, it protects the top of the gun if you ever want to take it off, and it makes the red dot solid and it wont move at all even with all the back and forth from the slide. and its reasonably priced it is smaller than the Strike Industries "GUM" mount. and unlike the GUM mount this one comes in two pieces a piece that slides into the rear slot and then the plane that gets screwed into that piece. with the GUM mount you have to pound the whole thing in the rear mount trench and you cant put anything down over the top of your gun to protect it from the mount. and its flat and bigger it just looks awkward this one looks sleeker. Obviously blue locktite the screws. side note I love Strike Industries Products they make Great quality products and the GUM mount is great also, and more red dots can be used with the GUM mount. either would be a great buy

Two damaged units in a row
Purchased for a Glock 43 after a recommendation, alongside an ADE RDS just to get used to finding the dot begore spending big. The ADE is great, for a training tool. The mount? Not so much. First one I ordered came with a dovetail that looked like it went through a disposal. It had clearly been damaged on someone else's pistol and sent back. Where it should snug into the dovetail it was worn in on both sides. It would go in halfway, like any dovetail should, then shoot out the other side. Upon closer examination it even appeared that the dovetail insert was warped. Noticeable bend in the underside when set on a flat surface. Okay. No biggie. These things happen right? Hit up support, they issued a refund, said keep the old one and order a new one. Sounds great! Round 2! The exact same thing. Wear marks, not snugging into the dovetail. It didn't have an observable warp this time though, but it's still useless. I'll be requesting a refund, again. Skip this. Go with something else. Anything else. Like the UTG.

Make sure you it works on your red dot before purchase
Hi, all glock lovers Why I purchased ????? Got this mount for my glock 19, didn't want to shave down the slide incase I didn't like the red dot optics. Plus didn't want to spend over 300 bucks on a red dot also. Outcome, Didn't mount well for my NcStar - FlipDot Red Dot Reflex Optic, main reason is because the top of the frame of mount dont line up with holes where the red dot mounts . When you try to tighten the red dot NcStar - FlipDot Red Dot Reflex Optic, also it's to wide to fit the holes. After abit of drilling maid some more holes on the mount, and I got it mount. Its just for mean time till I get a universal mount from strike industries. Recommend ::::: Pretty sure it will work on all other red dots, it's just this NcStar - FlipDot Red Dot Reflex Optic is to wide. What do you expect for 98.00 bucks when you go cheap you go home 😐 empty handed. Reason why scored it 5 is because it's good mount just find out if its compatible with your red dot sights.

THIS COULD BE A 5 STAR RAIL???
This could be a 5 star rail??? I received my new Vortex Venom and this rail I Immediately rush in the house like a kid on Christmas morning to install them. The dove tail went on very easy. Almost to easy?? I blue loctite the screws and turned it on!! NOTHING I couldn't see the dot. I tried every thing I could to move the dot down to the top of my front sight!!! No matter what I did it would not work. I tried Google, YouTube with no luck so I did the only thing I could think of. I bought another rail on Amazon. LOL the next morning I called Vortex to give them a good talking too and after speaking with John, I found out I was doing everything wrong!!😏 You dont move the dot to your sight he even told me you dont even use your front sight with a red dot. So to be completely honest this might be a 5 star bad ass dove tail? I'll never know because the new rail I bought is thinner "see pics" so I'm not pointing way down to fire as much and it's a 1 piece rail. This means less things to fail down the road!!! Take this review with a grain of salt because as you can tell I'm not a red dot or rail expert.

Works great so far on Canik TP9SF
Questions and reviews I read still left me not knowing if this would work on my Canik TP9SF, but I can firmly answer now: yes, it does. Notes: 1. I've seen some different sight dovetails/grooves posted, but both of mine have Warren/Glock sights. If yours doesn't, then this mount may not work. 2. The most difficult part is getting the stock rear sight out, which required a specific tool called a sight pusher. I got the Universal Sight Pusher Tool for Handguns for $40 here on Amazon. It took a ton of lining up everything perfectly and a little more force than I was comfortable with at first, but once it finally started to slide it was easy from there. 3. Note which mount your red dot is using beforehand, as there seem to be at least two main types - Vortex and RMR. I got the Pecawen 3 MOA Green Single Dot Sight for $68 here on Amazon with the Vortex mount (the Picatinny/Weaver comes off) and it screwed right on. I popped in a bore laser sight and in only a couple minutes I had the dots perfectly aligned. Can't wait for the range! Good luck. Stay safe out there.
