Actual yellow adapter, good quality.
Connects to all the modules that a standard OBD2 cable will not connect to on a 2015 Fiat 500e. It is a true yellow adapter and not a yellow-colored extension.

Worked with my Fiat 500 for doing a Proxi Alignment on the computer
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good price

Perfect for Fiat 500e with OBDLink SX
Works perfect! My app/car combo only needs the yellow color adapter. I like that this source lets me buy just that one, without having to get a full set where apparently if you accidentally use the green adapter it can actually cause problems! My ~$140 OBDLink MX+ worked fine with this yellow adapter. Note how the app's pin connection specs in the pic match this item's description.... HOWEVER, I later learned that while simple code reading & cleaing is fine on Bluetooth, it risks killing the car if you use it for "active diagnostics" such as proxy alignment! A ~$49 OBDLink SX cable is recommended, & works fine on an OTG-compatible Android* with a ~$3 USB-C or Micro USB OTG data adapter, but not with a charge-only adapter. * You can check with a free app called "USB OTG Checker". I bought the yellow adapter to do the proxy alignment shown in the sequence pic, to fix my flashing odometer which started when my car's speakerphone & USB failed. Contrary to the app's instructions shown on the "Finished" page, repeating the proxy alignment got further through the process each time, & finally finished after 3 or 4 tries. Then my phone still wouldn't pair until I un-paired it & re-paired it. I also have a Konnwei KW902. I read that it won't work with a yellow adapter, so I tried it & confirmed that it doesn't work. I also read that it won't work with a Veepeak VP11. That may also apply to other cheap dongles & may be why it fails for others reporting here.

Fit as expected
If you have yet to order and have a Ram Promaster (check instructions for year) you must have this for anything to be adjustable. That said, my 2021 just would not work correctly. It may have been the unit as this pluged-in and worked fine.

Works fine with fiat 500
Well made, and nice to be able to only buy the color I needed. Most everything other than standard obd2 codes on FIAT use the yellow connector. Works fine, no problems.
