Q: The maya cycle and aosom single wheel bike trailers look identical. what, if any is the difference?

I own an Aosom single wheel trailer it's a fine bit of kit in comparison it ome with a much easier to adapt set of wheel attachment arms that can be used with 7mm 5 grade bolts if you don't want to mess with the axle nuts. It has an alloy wheel, better bearings, and supsension on the rear wheel I think in either case these trailers should limited to about 40 pounds maximum, you will have severe handling issues if trying to tow 60~70# The Aosom also folds flat for stowing when on plane or train.

Q: I ride a Salsa Warbird with an ultralite thru-axle...will this trailer work with my gravel bike?

With the upgrade to the quick connect, I would think you would have no problem with using it. I have a heavier bianchi road bike. We started the c and o trail out of Washington- the trail was the challenge. If you are going to be on a rough trail I would recommend adding blue thread lock to the connection for the trailer to prevent the nuts from loosening. The bag looks nice out of the box but the zipper was not working. A plastic tub that fits is easier to open and close- plus its waterproof
