Great for hunting
I recently picked up the Bladder to use in my hunting backpack, and after putting it through some real-world use, I can confidently say it’s a fantastic piece of gear. This bladder holds up to 3 liters of water, which is plenty for a long day out in the field. Whether I’m sitting in a blind, hiking to a tree stand, or stalking through rough terrain, this bladder has proven to be a reliable and efficient way to stay hydrated without missing a beat. What I really like about this bladder is how tough it is. The military-grade, abrasion-resistant material gives me confidence that it can handle getting tossed into my pack alongside gear like knives, ammo, and other sharp or heavy objects. I’ve even accidentally dropped my pack with the bladder inside, and there wasn’t so much as a scratch. The insulated HydraFusion drink tube is another highlight—it keeps water cool for hours, which is especially nice during early-season hunts in warmer weather. Plus, the insulation protects the tube from kinking or tearing when the pack gets jostled around. Cleaning this thing is surprisingly easy, which is a big deal for me because I’ve dealt with hydration systems in the past that were a pain to maintain. This bladder is fully reversible, so you can flip it inside out to scrub it down, and it’s even dishwasher safe. After a day of hunting, when you’re cleaning your gear and prepping for the next trip, it’s nice not to have to wrestle with getting your hydration system clean. That said, I did notice a couple of small quirks. The bite valve felt a little stiff the first few times I used it. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something to keep in mind—you might need to get used to it at first. Also, the insulated tube, while awesome for keeping water cold, is slightly bulkier than standard hydration tubes. It’s not a huge issue, but if you’re packing light and trying to minimize space, it’s worth noting. This water bladder isn’t just for hunting, though. I can see it being great for hiking, camping, long-distance cycling, or even just having in a bug-out bag. The 3-liter capacity means you can use it for full-day activities without constantly refilling, and the durable build makes it perfect for any rough-and-tumble environment.

Ultra-durable, for a hydration bladder.
Good value for money due to the durability. No leaks, and holds a full 3L if you need the capacity. Now to address two common gripes. Yes, there is some slight plastic/rubber taste, but I have never found a bladder that doesn’t, and don’t think I ever will. That’s what they’re made of, and it will impart some taste. Second, no, you can’t drop it on sharp rocks 15 times in a day and expect it to be just fine. It’s a lightweight bladder, and isn’t made of chain mail, but it’s the most durable I've ever seen or used. Simply put, if you can’t stand any rubber taste at all, and/or you want durability to the point of being rough with it, buy a steel canteen. The hydration bladder you want doesn’t exist.

Better than the issued camelbak!
I got this because IIF did not give me a Camelbak insert. I much prefer this version, because the standard issue version is a real pain to clean and dry out for storage. The way this bladder opens across the entire top makes cleaning and drying super easy. Now I’m not worried about some heinous tastes as I drink my water in the field or on hikes.

Reasonably good value, a couple of minor flaws.
So far so good. Will update this in 6 months. Done a couple of short, 5 mile hikes with this so not many data points to go from. But initial thoughts. I like the closure. It’s sufficiently rigid and appears made from decent polymer. After drinking the contents, it does get stiffer due to the mild vacuum pulled but nothing a little elbow grease won’t fix. The bite valve functions fairly well. The mechanical lever here is a little awkward to use one handed while moving but is functional. I do find the first few sips are both warm and a little unpleasant tasting each time you use it, but once the hose is purged the following sips are fine. I suspect this is a result of the hose sitting in direct sunlight and warming up the polymer material and the water within. Not a huge deal. I’ve taken a star off because the bladder could really use a longer hose and it doesn’t appear that one is offered. I’m using a Crossfire CF3 pack and I’m finding that the hose is more or less at full extension when sipping. I’d hate that to be placing undue stress on the spout. Otherwise, reasonably pleased with my first water bladder. I’ll continue to carry a Nalgene or two for the short term - but let’s see what a winter will do to it.

Hasn't Leaked Yet
Used this for a few hikes, including a long one with the bladder suspended in my backpacking pack. No leaks and works as expected. Easy to clean and invertible as advertised.

The best blader that I've ever owned
I've had so many bladers over time but I love this one the most. I've used this in below freezing temps and it works great. The most awesome feature of this product is definitely that u can reverse it to throughly clean it. It also doesn't have the chemicas that might cause cancer. Highly recommend it.

Tastes awful
The first time I used it it had leakage issues where the hose clips into the bladder. Though that seemed to resolve as the bladder emptied. Other than that, it has a very strong plastic taste despite several washings. Other reviewers reported it. I was optimistic. They were right. I like how easy it is to clean and fill, but that taste is intolerable, food grade plastics should not impart the taste of plastic into the substance they contain. My trusty 25 year old Nalgene bladder (had I known they were discontinuing it I would have stocked up) never had that taste issue, except the time I but near boiling water in it for a winter trip, but that was a lot to ask of a bladder.

first time trying a hydrapak product and it is absolute top quality water reservoir, the material and build quality is excellent, perfect size and it fits in all of my backpacks that have hydration sleeves, from my 15L to my 65L. Barely any after taste on the first use, the bite valve is hard enough to bite on and looks like it will hold up for a long time, cleaning is also very easy. The seal when closed is extremely tight, not a chance of any leakage or drops. Excellent reservoir
