This product was designed as a clamp that suspends your device.After several regrettable purchases and frustrating returns, I found this clamp.I was just about ready to surrender to the General Shoddiness of Clamps, when I found this one.I really have put it to the test, as it is being used on my nightstand to hold a rather heavy Samsung tablet in an upright position, and I adjust the angle and orientation several times a day.This gives the clamp much more of a workout than if it is used, as it was meant to, to just hang a device in the kitchen in a hands-off way.The fittings are tight and stay that way.This device is made well and honestly, and if you have been let down by anemic clamps, don't give up.You can buy this one with confidence...

I needed something to attach to my treadmill that would securely hold my phone while I run. This is the PERFECT item for me and my treadmill. The wide clamp allows for a nice range of applications and the shorter arm makes it the perfect size to hold my phone. This makes it so easy to run on the treadmill while maintaining easy access to my phone all while keeping it very secure.

Easy to install and worked great until the plastic parts broke. If you plan on moving the tablet much you might consider a different mount with less plastic parts.
