**UPDATE: February 15,2021**I'm just updating my review to say that I have now had these installed on my truck for the last 8 years and they are still in perfect condition! I would upload new pictures, but they still look the same! These have been a fantastic purchase for my truck and worth every single penny!**UPDATE: December 30, 2013**These visors are still going strong. I did decide to have them paint matched to my truck (see picture in customer images). They took to the paint prep job and new paint very well. I had to remove the 3M tape that came installed on them when I gave them to the paint shop and re-applied new 3M tape when I got them back and re-installed them on my truck. No sticky residue was left on any of the visors or in my window tracks (AVS uses good quality 3M automotive grade tape on these!). Reapplying the new 3M tape went smoothly and they have been holding true since April (eight months now) with no issues. I still highly recommend these visors!**Original review from February 19, 2013**Vehicle installed on: 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie CCI purchased the AVS visors off Amazon as they were the best price I could find and I got them delivered in two days with my Prime membership.I have only had the tape on version in the past (on my '99 Tahoe) and although I was quite pleased with them, I swore I would not tape anything to the paint on my new $45k truck.. LOL! So I bought these in-channel visors.I must say they are rather simple to install. I only had issues with the passenger front door.. it wasn't seating right and kept engaging the auto-down window feature. After about fifteen minutes of cussing and wanting to break it in half, I finally got it wiggled into place. All windows are up and will stay that way for at least a few days to ensure the tape takes and all visors seat properly. Including my rant fest with the one window, this install took me approximately twenty-five minutes for all four windows.Now that they are installed.. I am not sure if I should have them paint matched. (I know they are taped in.. but I could always put fresh 3M tape on them after being painted to install them again.) Decisions, decisions. I would recommend these visors to everyone!To previous reviewers who have had issues with installing these visors due to the window auto-down feature:These visors do fit our trucks (please verify the part number is applicable to your specific vehicle) and they will install into windows with the auto-down feature. Please do not rate this item poorly due to your lack of patience!You have to be *patient* with the installation.. the visors will not seat perfectly at first and you will most likely have a few minutes of frustration when the auto-down feature of the windows is engaged due to making contact with the inside edge of the visors. Once you get them installed, leave your windows up, uninterrupted, for at least 24 hours. This allows the visors to properly seat into position.

I bought these used and the first 2 times I received them they were smashed and unusable but 3rd time was the charm and they came with just scratches, so beware of getting the used option but if you're patient you can save a few dollars. They would be a little nicer if they were slightly longer, the wind noise is barely less with the window cracked.

Had to cut off the front tab on the visor because my auto windows would not go up with the tab wedged between the frame and the felt seal. It is to tight of a fit. Otherwise they are great and look nice

First let me say I put vent shades on every truck I own. Always have used AVS brand and have always been very pleased. I just traded my 2013 Ram 2500 with 100k miles on it. I had AVS vent shades on it for 10 years. They looked as good after 10 years as when they were new. On my new truck, a 2024 Power Wagon (which is the same AVS part number as on my old truck) I decided to give the AVS a try despite the reviews about them warping. Well less than a month later the drivers and passenger rear began to warp. I reached out to AVS on 7-26 and submitted a Warranty request. The auto response said someone would contact me in 2 days. It is now 8-3-2024 and I have yet to receive a response. On 8-1, I decided I'd just go ahead and return them as AVS hadn't contacted me back. Well I ordered them on 6-30 and was passed the return window of 7-30 so I had to contact customer service for my refund. They agreed to refund me but could only provide a return code for dropoff at a UPS store. I asked if I could just return them to Kohl's like we do with all our Amazon returns but the stated that was not an option. So all in all not the best experience. I have just ordered a replacement set through Summit Racing for the Weather Tech window deflectors as suggested here in other reviews. Needless to say, I will no longer be purchasing AVS brand for any of my vehicles.

I tried saving some cash and buying knock off visors. Those fit terribly, ended up returning and buying AVS. Instructions were much better with the AVS, install takes ten minutes. I love rain visors, can have a vehicle without them.

When I dry fit per video they fit great. But when you install the front vents the small tab that keeps them in place was too thick and would not let windows close. I had to use a knife and push out on front corner so window would close. Now every time I let window down they will not close and I have to push out with knife so window will close. Mine went on a 2024 Ram 2500. Overwise look good.

Update 7/5/2022 passenger side rear deformed while sitting outside in the sun for two days. Looks like it got hot and sagged in the middle. Gentle pressure straightens it back out but it won't stay. Temps were in the upper 80's with mostly sunny skies. Can't believe it was from the heat but what else would cause it. Needless to say I'm very disappointed and contacted manufacturer. Still waiting on their reply on trying to get a replacement.Read the directions and watch few YouTube videos. Do a trial run with the tape cover still on. Little bit of insight before you begin will ensure an easy successful install.These are way better looking than the other style that adheres to the outside of the door frame. Sleek. I've had both and prefer these.Downside is the interference between the visor and window when all the way up. Even after following directions and leaving the windows full up position for a few days immediately after install I can still hear the window contact the visor slightly on its way up. It doesn't catch it fully and continues up to the top.Not entirely sure but there may be a bit of road noise now like the windows aren't sealed 100% when up.I'd buy them again and recommend them over the exterior mount type. The few minor drawbacks are just that... minor.

These are awesome, they stick really well.There are a few reviews that say to cut the tab off on the fronts but if you follow the directions and insert the tab between mirror and door first and then slide the rest in, it works great.I think these look way better than the outside stick on type, they look sleek and factory.Will definitely recommend them to anyone!Helpful tip - after installing each front, I held my window switch to keep it up all the way, then shut ignition off and took out keys, this will prevent the auto windows from sensing it and re-opening the window.I left my windows up for about 12 hours, and now the sensors let the windows go all the way up with no problems.

Bought this because it said it fit my 2019 ram 1500 classic warlock but it didn’t the rears slid in fine and adhered well and closed to a snug fit. The fronts however went in good but noticed about the front 1-1 1/2 inches of the 3m tape didn’t have anywhere to adhere to as the in channel of it dipped thought nothing of it cuz it looked like it fit. However the window refused to close as it didn’t sit right with the plastic overhang on the front and when I finally managed to get it to closed it creaked a lot, when opening the window again caused to to keep opening again refusing to close after one rain guard snapped and started to chip on the other I gave up.

Recommend this product, looks good and easy to install

The media could not be loaded. Looks good but doesn’t function well. Visor gets in the way and have to push in to close window on my 2012 Ram 1500 Crew Cab.
