Honeybee Gardens Pressed Mineral Powder Foundation, Luminous

I'm pretty happy with this foundation. It's not the exact color I was expecting (based on a sample I'd previously purchased from Honeybee Gardens' website), but it's pretty close. I've been using Everyday Minerals powder in Beige 3N, and this is slightly darker and with a more yellow undertone than that. However, it goes on very light and doesn't make me look too yellow. Gives a faint dusting but does adequately even out my skin. The plastic it comes in is quite sturdy and I don't see myself shelling out the big bucks for the oversized compact. All in all, I'm pleased.Update: For reference, this compact lasted me almost exactly 2 months, using it lightly 3-4 days a week.

This is a natural, chemical free powder foundation that really performs! It has great coverage for acne and hyper pigmentation, yet still looks very natural and fresh. I have uber sensitive/acne prone skin, and this has given me no problems. In fact, it wasn't until I ran out of this and had to use another brand that I had any problems with breakouts. I was waiting (not so) patiently for this to come in the mail so I could get back to it! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I took away 1 star only because I do wish it lasted a little bit longer during the day, but I am really demanding when it comes to that. I have oily skin and I don't like reapplying at all. It lasts pretty well throughout my work day. Please never stop making this foundation!

This is the first time I've used this product and I'm pretty pleased with it. It was difficult to choose a color but I had purchased samples from the Website. I ended up choosing this one because I'm naturally a beige and always get neutral. I personally would have gotten the shade darker because it goes on really lite and makes my face appear to have been totally dusted in a lite powder. But I will say that as it settles on your face it begins to match your skin tone giving an awesome finish! I will continue to use this makeup though!

I have been using this for a few years now and find it is the best mineral foundation powder I have tried and I have tried several of them. It goes on smoothly, does not cake, and looks natural. It does not cause any irritation or breakouts on my sensitive skin or have a particularly noticeable fragrance. I have good skin basically, am 62 years old, and don't like to use a make up foundation that is too obvious. This makes my skin look better, covers minor discolorations without looking like I am wearing make up. I have brown hair and blue eyes and find that the Luminous color works best for me, after having tried several of them. I would highly recommend this to older women or anyone who doesn't like to wear a lot of make up or need a lot of coverage.

The product itself is excellent and Id rather have a cheap plastic cover as a package then a case which would increase price and additional garbage. Im not worried about dropping it as its so light and the plastic can take some of the impact (its very flexible light plastic). The picture just shows the color (product) but in the add amazon bag it shows a compact like a real makeup compact which is kinda confusing as they arent selling that image it shows you. Anyhow glad I bought this instead off 100% pure you get so much bang for your buck with a great company too.

This is my first purchase of Honeybee foundation. I'm replacing foundation from IT cosmetics. It is far less toxic and I find the coverage comparable. The color is perfect for my skin tone. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is the price for what you get.

I don't think I bought the best color for me or else I might have given it a 5 star. It is a little too light but it blends in well. The best thing about it is the creamy dry silky texture that literally covers my rash spots in one dab. This is an excellent product, and if I can get the color right I think I'll be very happy.

This is the best powder I've ever used. I only use vegan products, but even compared to other mainstream products I would prefer this item. My complexion is quite pale, and in the past I've had difficulty find a product that matches and looks good on my skin. This compact certainly achieves that!
