DeMarini 2022 Ultimate Weapon™ Slowpitch Bat

I've been out of the game for 20+ years but recently joined a rec league and found out how old I'd gotten. 😆I'm not well versed in all of the options out there but after doing a fair amount of research I decided to give this bat a try. Two of us on the team have this bat and they are both used by teammates often.I'm 5'8", 185 and don't consider myself to be a power hitter but I'm regularly 200' when swinging for the outfield. Line drives are lasers. Sweet spot feels crisp.My only complaints are probably non-issues for most but the first would be that the original grip is super thin so I regripped it myself. That's just personal preference.Another, more trivial gripe is that the matte finish shows alot of marks and after contact. Petty, I know, but I like my stuff to look good and it cleans up well every few games or so. All in all I would recommend this as a quality bat.

Purchased a 30", 28 ounce DiMarini Secret Weapon. My last purchase was a 2004 Dimarini B-52 - which I loved and used up until last season. New bat is still being broken in but I am happy so far with its nice sweet spot, balance and its performance. I tested several brands of bats both composite and alloy before purchasing the DiMarini. Nothing felt as good as the Secret Weapon. Singles hitter here but I'm hoping to bang out a few extra base hits or even a dinger as the season progresses. This is a sweet bat.

Nice single wall bat. It has pop but grips do not last when you have hands like pythons.

I purchased this bat as I have used several Demarini bats over the years and always had good luck with them. After a few games with this bat the grip came completely off. I returned it and got a replacement but the same thing happened to that one as well. Definitely can’t recommend this bat.

The bat feels good and the ball pops off the bat. Just like any bat, it all about the swing.

Decent beginner softball bat. Adds some distance to a square hit. The grips need some more meat in my opinion. Ball makes a solid sound when hit. As in most cases the higher the price the better the bat and the longer it will last. If you are playing a couple games a week and using this bat at a batting cage, I'd say you'd get two productive seasons out of this particular model.

I like this bat a lot I’m a 6’1 male 203lbs and iv had my best batting season yet! I put one over the fence at 310’ this bat feels almost effortless to hit with. My whole team uses it ever since I bought it. The first thing I would do though is change the grip tape. I tore mine off in the first 2 times I used it. I bought another kind of grip tape and used some black electrical tape at the top of the grip tape to seal it on there and I haven’t had a problem since.
