My son works dish pit at a restaurant. These are pretty big. But they are water proof. He did the test and submerged it for 30 minutes with a napkin instead. Came out perfect. He uses it at work since he’s usually drenched with the sprayer. It still fits in the pouch and in his pocket. He can operate the phone while in the pouch. Completely dry. No complaints.

This pouch works phenomenal. We had our phones FULLY submerged while swimming in the Caves/Cenotes of Mexico and not a drop of water got in. The pictures and videos still showed clear and amazing through the phone pouch. 100/10. Will be telling our family to purchase them for our Spring family vacation!

The Hiearcool Waterproof Phone Pouch is a great pick if you want to keep your iPhone protected during beach trips, pool days, or rainy weather. It seals up tight and held up well through water exposure — no leaks, even when fully submerged briefly. The touch responsiveness through the pouch is decent, so you can still scroll, take photos, or answer calls without removing your phone. It’s lightweight, compact, and easy to carry around, which makes it convenient for travel or outdoor adventures. The clear window shows the screen well and lets you use basic phone functions without removing it. My only small critique is that the touchscreen sensitivity is slightly reduced compared to using the phone directly — it works, but you might need a firmer tap sometimes. Other than that, it’s dependable and does what it promises. A solid 4 out of 5 — great for waterproof protection!

We had a trip to Great Wolf Lodge planned. We go every year, and every year I get frustrated that I didn't order a waterproof phone case to take pictures. So this year, I decided I was going to and saw this two pack on a great deal. I have a Samsung S24 that has a screen size of 6.2" plus a case on it so I figured this was going to be big...but it wasn't. Right out of the box, the Hiearcool Waterproof Phone Pouch looked excellent. I loved the teal colored pouch and the waterproof locks seemed great. Each one had a cardstock page describing a water seal test BEFORE putting your phone it, which I thought was a great idea. I used the teal pouch for two days straight on our trip. It worked really well. While I usually didn't have it submerged for long periods, I was able to bring it up on slides to get some fun pics and when we hit the water and getting out of tubes, it definitely got very wet. It stayed dry the WHOLE time. I even took a few underwater videos of my kids doing somersaults, etc. My phone stayed dry!! I specifically loved the color and the lock design. It came with a lanyard so you could hold on to the tubes and not lose your phone. The lanyard unhooked easily though (but never by itself) if I wanted easier access to taking pics or texting, etc. because the lanyard would get in the way sometimes. If I had to nitpick, it was hard to get all the air out of the pouch to make the touch screen work well. My phone was a little smaller than the max (but I honestly don't believe a 8.3" phone would fit in this), but with the locks, it was hard to keep them open and squeeze air out. If there was air left in it, then the pouch kind of poofed and the touch screen didn't work well for pushing buttons. But it's not a deal breaker at all at this price for a 2 pack and the water seal was excellent. If I was able to get the air out, it was difficult to slide the phone out after - I'd have to stick my hand it to release the screen from the plastic and then it slid out. But it was fairly snug on the sides, so I don't think a screen much larger would fit - longer maybe, but not wider. Overall, I was VERY happy with this product. My phone stayed dry and it mostly worked well with my touchscreen. Most importantly, I have a lot of fun videos and photos of my kids having fun in the water and didn't break my phone with water.

I hiked The Narrows in Zion National Park using this to keep my phone dry & still accessible for pictures & it worked great! I waded through water up to my neck in the summertime & this kept my phone completely dry despite being fully submerged. Easy to use, easy to open & close, touchscreen still accessible with a little extra effort.

My family just went to Disneyland and unfortunately it rained a ton for the two days we were in the parks. We've done Disney in the rain before, and so we were armed with rain jackets, rain pants, shoe covers, etc. But the one thing I remembered from past trips was how difficult it was to use the phone - had to go find a dry area for the phone and get my hands dry before I could do anything. And anyone navigating Disneyland these days knows how much we have to be on the app for mobile orders, monitoring wait times, etc. etc. This phone pouch protected my phone from the rain perfectly, and I was able to use the buttons on the side and the touchscreen as well. The fingerprint reader even worked through the plastic a couple times, but mostly didn't. I just disabled that feature and used my password unlock for most of the trip. The lanyard kept it in easy reach at all times, although I often just tucked the phone into one of the larger pockets of my rain coat. (Pro-tip: My son recommended putting the phone in upside-down, so when you pull it up to read while it's on the lanyard, it's right-side up. Genius! These seem very high quality, so we'll be able to use them again for future rainy or waterpark adventures. The lanyard is very adjustable, ensuring a perfect fit. Now I did not go into water, like swimming or anything, so I cannot speak to how well they protect the phone if totally submersed. And I will also say that foldover "wallet" style phone cases won't fit in these, as they are pretty narrow. Flat phone cases are fine. We had Google Pixel phones, 9a and 7, and they worked fine with flat cases or no case at all. I dropped mine without a case inside the pouch once or twice, and it helped protect the phone - no scratches or dings at all. I highly, highly recommend these phone pouches!

Bought these for our honeymoon trip to Disney/Discovery Cove. Wanted to attempt pictures in the water for beautiful memories. Read the instructions and reviews and decided these would be perfect. I did the napkin test per the instructions and dipped it in a sink of water and it worked fine, napkin stayed dry. Well time for the big day! Went with it and my phone, took it out of my case, and put it in exactly as intended with closure and everything. Stood in the water and attempted to take a picture with the phone underneath the water (just above the surface) and once I lifted it out I saw a little water in the pouch. Panicked, I hustled out of the water, took the phone out, and quickly dried it and turned it off. Long story short, it was too late and damage was done to the phone lol. That was a fun part of the Honeymoon having to get a new one as our tickets, map, and everything else are needed on your cell phone anymore. I am not sure if it really was user error on my part, but I did everything as instructed. They did seem to be good quality. I guess I just wouldn't trust anything electronic submerged in the water at this point. Just sharing for those like like to read first hand experiences.
