We used them in our hallway that doesn’t have a light. They are bright enough and light up the hallway as u walk through it. So much fun!

Easy to install strip of LED lights for anywhere you want some extra light or mood lighting. Even I was able to install this product with minimal fuss or effort, and I usually leave anything like this for my husband to install as I worry about the wiring being corrected wrong. There's only one connection point on the end of the strip, so no way to mess it up. You can use much of the LED strip or as little as you want, just make sure you cut it at the appropriate location on the strip.To install:1. measure the length of the area you want placed these lights;2. unroll the LED strip and measure from the end that is connected to the power source as you don't want to cut from the wrong end and sever the strip from the power plug and sensor.3. after cutting, make sure to position the power end of the strip next to a power outlet BEFORE beginning the peel of the backing;4. peel off a bit of the backing and attach that piece and press to secure;5. slowly continue to peel off the backing as you press the strip in place;6. position the sticker for the sensor and make sure the sensor is in an open and unobstructed location. The sensor is titchy doesn't catch motion like it should (at least our unit). We were expecting more sensitivity, but this one isn't as sensitive as other motion lights we have. The cats can walk by this without triggering it unlike other motion lights. It's also only 120 degree range instead of 180.Once installed, you can either use the remote to control, or switch it to motion sensor only. You can't use the remote when the strip is set to motion activation only, which is kind of annoying. We didn't download the app that can be used to control these lights as we don't really trust random apps like this with rather ambiguous privacy policies regarding what information they access and collect from your phone. So if there is a way to control the lights from the app while the lights are in motion sensing mode, I can't say.These lights don't get incredibly bright, which makes them great for overnight or mood lighting. If you have a place to plug in the light and place the sensor close by an entrance way, these make good 'welcome home' light to help light your path until you can get to a light switch to turn on more lights. If you choose to use the app, there may be a way to turn on these lights from your car or porch if you are close enough, but again I can't say since I didn't download the app. These would make good nighttime stairway lighting, hallway lighting, or bathroom lighting since the light output can be set at the lowest possible setting and in a color that won't destroy night vision or be so bright as to wake someone up enough for them to not get back to sleep. This LED strip and plug are not rated for outdoors or for being weatherproof. You might be able to use them on a well protected porch as long as there's no way for water or humidity to affect the lights or plug.Overall, I like the simplicity of installation and use. No wiring skills are needed, no programming skills are needed, no special installation tools or skills are needed. There are some things that could be improved, but that can be said about a lot of products.

These were put under the bed and they work really well and are bright

After I installed on the base of the bed, I was very pleased. The adhesive was really strong and the lights were very easy to attach. I tried all of the settings, but the most important feature was the motion detector.The product states that it detects motion to 3M, but I have found you have to be right next to the sensor to get it to come on. This isn't a deal-breaker as I can put the sensor close to the edge where we will get out of bed.The biggest complaint is that the 2nd USB adaptor for the opposite side is not working at all. Unfortunately, I have already adhered the product to the bedframe. I know the strand works as I swapped the USB that was working and presto, it worked. I tried the adaptor in question on the original side and it didn't work there either.My next complaint is that there is no option to contact the seller about just replacing the USB Adaptor. The automated response is contact Amazon. Seems like a really hassle-free solution would be having an option for a single part replacement.

Installed these on a makeshift pvs pipe frame under my bed. We love them. Perfect for parents with kids that don’t sleep at night.

One of the light strip reels had no backing on it. It was re-rolled around the reel all stuck together. I had already used the first reel so I couldn’t return the set, luckily I was able to get it to unreel and stick to my project.

The item works fine and is very easy to install. The seller is very responsive therefore if you get any issue you can be confident that it will be resolved promptly

motion sensor works great

I purchased to put over a sink where some light was needed in the kitchen. Even with making several rows across the bottom of the cabinet at 29 inches above the sink they didn't make enough light to make a difference from the ceiling fan lights that are 6 feet away from the sink. They sell grow lights the days that are LEDs and is as bright as you can get some led strip lights?Also the "white" setting is NOT at all white. It's multicoloured and not bright at all. Pretty disappointing for real!
