I've been hunting for an affordable red oval Dutch oven for months. This one is priced well and is easily comparable to my red round Lodge Dutch oven--together, they'll be the focal points of my kitchen decor (OK; I admit--it's a lived-in, practical farm kitchen). I put this to use immediately upon opening it and am happy to report my sourdough cinnamon raisin bread turned out beautifully. It's not Le Creuset, but it's just fine!

Heavy, solid Dutch oven. I use it to bake rye bread, it came out great and it's perfect size for using 2lb of flour.

Great for baking sour dough bread. I now have 3. Have had no problem with chipping. Great for just about anything you cook.

This is a quality Dutch oven but it was too heavy for me. Delivery was quick and it is easy to clean. I returned because of weight.

The item is well manufactured. The ceramic coating is uniform and the lid fits perfectly without any wobble. It is heat tolerant to 500° F which is what is needed to preheat before baking homemade sourdough bread. The oval shape is great for making a bâtard loaf. I made one yesterday and it came out perfect.

It just arrived today and it was a quick delivery too! The size is just perfect for what I was looking for. I love the color, I ordered the green. It is very nicely finished, appears to be very durable. I’m excited to use it.
