This rod casts way above its price point. I would not hesitate to recommend this rod to anyone, from beginner to expert. Even experts need a cheap rod at times and this one won't disappoint. This rod would make a great gift for any angler and sports a lifetime warrantee from the manufacturer. Buy with confidence.

Nice Rod and case
The order came on time. Nice Rod Tube. Rod appears to okay other than. Handle is a half inch shorter than my other #5. six and a half compared to seven and a eighth. Only has one locking nut. Only one ceramic stripping guide. And it is put on at a angle not straight to the blank. Seemed to cast okay on cold dry grass. Have to see how it does when the ice goes off and I have a fish on. A little pricey Canadian for what a guy gets. All in All I guess it will do for a back up rod.
