Hunger Games 4-Book Paperback Box Set (the Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay, the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes)

This set is currently sitting on my nightstand. If you have not read the hunger games books I highly recommend! I read the first three books in three weeks with a full-time job and a toddler. The fourth book is taking me a while. I heard everyone has a favorite And I would have to say the second one is mine if you were looking for a good book series to get into I would recommend this. I personally have never been into reading and never thought I would get through the books this fast. It is cheaper to purchase the set then each book individually so just go for it.

I love the hunger games books so much, that I had to buy them! Although the hardcover is pretty expensive, I find it very worth it if you love the hunger games as much as I do. I recommend getting hardcover because they last better and look better on the shelf. I'm a 14 year old with barely any money or job, and I have no regrets buying this.

The hunger games is a great book. My 11 yo is obsessed with it! She’s even getting hunger games decor 🤣 I would definitely recommend it!!!

I bought this set for my daughter. She's quite the reader. She wanted it so I bought it. She said the books are better than the movies (common thing) but she's very happy with them and now has the box set for her book collection. Next up for her, the twilight saga

The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collin’s has been on my TBR for years, and I’m so glad I finally got around to reading it. As good as the movies were, I think the books are better (anyone surprised? 😬) These books were entertaining, engaging, and exactly what you want in a YA fantasy adventure. The character development and world building are excellent, making the whole story surprisingly believable. I think the grittiness of the story, often not giving you the outcome or resolution you’re hoping for, as well as characters who have clear flaws, made everything feel very real. I was unsettled and anxious the whole time, but I share that as a compliment to the quality of the writing.I want to give a special nod to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. I feel like prequel’s can be so hit-or-miss, and I approached this one with trepidation, but it was so interesting!! With Snow as the MC, you get this fascinating look into his “villain origin story” and how he could have taken a seemingly better path, with key moments where his thoughts/impulses were headed in a direction for good, but then the weight of his upbringing ultimately eclipses them. And the ending honesty was just wild, but was totally fitting for his character.While I think this is a great YA fantasy series, I would encourage parents to review trigger warnings, as there is a lot of violence directed toward and between children. That said, I did really enjoy this series and would recommend it!

One of the best series ever written with lots of modern social commentary. Beautiful set as well
