There is a field in back of my house and I always have mosquitos, etc.. When I adopted my dog I bought a door screen for him to come and go when needed. We both love the screen, but oh the mosquitos. I purchased this zapper and No MOre bugs in the house. It works very well. I placed it by the door screen. I could not believe how many mosqutos and flies it zapped in just a few days. Cleaning was so easy. I didn't have to even touch the part to clean it. I will get another one for the front door. NOTE: I had tried so many other products, the coil, citronella "everything". This zapper was inexpensive and works. I highly recommend.

Happy with zapper. The size is just right, and it uses standard CFL tube, so easier to replace when they burn out. It kills bugs. I noticed the reduction in bugs around it.Update 2023/09/27 The Zapper shorted and died. I heard a loud buzzing, sparks and smoke coming from the Zapper. Bad smoke, smell like ozone and it died.Piece of junk. Too late now to return it to Amazon.

Good product but didn’t last

Coming from a cultural background where bug zappers are a household staple, I was thappy to find this bug zapper lantern100% meets my expectations. Its simplicity and effectiveness make it a standout product. Using it couldn't be easier; it's practically ready to go right out of the box, which is exactly what I need.This lantern has become an essential part of my home, providing security from pesky insects around the clock. I even leave it on throughout the night, and it has almost replaced my traditional night light. It's quiet, efficient, and keeps my environment bug-free, which gives me a great sense of security.

It worked great for a short length of time. I bought it in October 2023 and it stopped working a couple of weeks ago.

Works great , kills bug and keeps the bugs down.
