The 1.8 and 2.1 metre versions are good rods.
pro: The 1.8 and 2.1 metre versions are better than the illustration suggest they will be, they are more or less the same (except for paint and logos) as the earlier Mitchell Catch rods at these lengths which I also rated highly. The rings are single leg, which means that the rod is able to flex more than with double legged rings, this used to be a feature of expensive rods. There is a lovely wiggle to the 2.1 metre version.I have not tried the 2.4 or 2.7 metre versions of these rods.cons: There is no cloth bag with the 1.8 and 2.1 metre versions of these rods. The reel seats of the 1.8 and 2.1 metre versions are fixed by part of the handle screwing and unscrewing. The 1.8 and 2.1 metre versions recommended for light spinning, and float fishing on slow streams where you can reach the middle of the stream with the rod from the bank for anyone who likes fishing, not suitable for fishing big waters where a much longer rod is needed, because they aren't long. Also not suitable for retrieving refridgerators from ponds.

Good for the price.
The rod is by no means top quality, but for the price it is perfectly serviceable and useful. It is light and have caught decent sized carp on it. Overall good value.

Spend a little bit more and get something better.
I should have spent a bit more to get something better. I t does the job, but it's not great.I do not recommend it.

Got this as a back up for for £11, this has slowly taken the number one spot for my lure fishing.

Will not buy again.
Second day of use and an eye liner dropped out, the butt section is not strong.
