Frames were perfect , no flaws etc, easy to assemble. Wood was top quality, wood was quarter sawn . Tight fitting joints.Black plastic foundation which was waxed .On the day that my order arrived , a swarm of bees arrived in my back yard , I needed at least 20 medium supers to give them a home. Will order more mediums and 20 or so deep frames.

Good quality but need to assemble at high price point
Good quality and all parts, minus glue, was included. I left 3 stars since at 72 bucks you still need to assemble, which is not the case when ordering from other vendors like Mann Lake

Easy assembly but you need to apply more wax.
I purchased these as my bees were rapidly filling the frames I had available. They assembled very easily and I got them into the hive boxes. The frames spent six weeks in my hive box and never got touched. I took half out and tried alternating them with drawn honey frames to encourage the bees to use them. I took the other half and recoated them with wax and put them in a box above to see what the result would be. The bees skipped the box that had the supplier-coated frames and went up to the box that had the ones that I had recoated with wax. After being coated the bees had begun drawing them out within the week.If you buy these or any plastic frames on Amazon or any non-supplier site be ready to recoat them as they sit in a warehouse for an unknown period before you will receive them. These had zero wax smell to them.I still give them four stars as the only trouble was having to rewax the foundations.
