ORIGINAL Review: I was so excited when this arrived and my cat loved it. But in less than a year the pump stopped working despite regular cleaning and maintenance.UPDATE:They saw the above review and reached out seeking to make it right. After a short conversation, they sent a shipping confirmation and I fully expected to just receive a new pump which I would have been happy with. Much to my surprise they sent an entirely new fountain. And its even in the color I originally ordered. I had already thrown away the old pump but I am pretty sure the new one looks different/ better. And it came with a cleaning tool. My cat and I are very happy. Great customer service. Thank you!

The media could not be loaded. Pros: aesthetic, quiet (at first), comes with a year supply of filters.Cons: the only con is the poor pump design. As you can hear in the video, the pump has rusted causing a very loud noise and the water doesn’t make it into the bowl anymore. On top of it being noisy and not function, I dont want to use it at all anymore because it’s putting rust on the water. I have a saltwater fish tank so maybe they can use one of those pumps because they don’t rust!Also attached are pictures of the qtips used to clean and the rust covered filter next to a new one. This filter was only 1 week old. I finally figured out this problem now that I have had it for 4 months. I have a lot of extra filters if anyone needs them.

It is so quiet and lovely. Really it is beautiful. I love the green, but then that is my favorite color. It is in my bedroom. The soft glow is much like a night light. If it wasn't so pretty, I would forget it was there. I enjoy it and my cats love it. It took no time for the cats to drink from it. It is tall enough that they are comfortable drinking from it. It holds plenty of water and I add to it every few days. I have a LOT of indoor cats. If you have only one or two this would well last a week for that few number of cats. It is easy to assemble and clean. It is simple to add water. I find it to be an asset to the decor of my home and for my cats' kidney health as they enjoy drinking from it. My cats get into everything yet have not disturbed the top which sits seamlessly on its bottom. I just raise the cord to raise the lid to add water. It is easy and works well for me. I highly recommend this fountain. It is a nice, quiet fountain.

My cat is *particular* about her water and this fountain was a hit for her. It's a great height for drinking comfortably and the basin was wide and flat enough it didn't bother her whiskers which was so hard to find in the past! It was quiet, cute to look at and easy to clean/maintain. But less than a year of having it, the pump started making a horrible sound and slowly stopped working completely. Such a bummer! With the price listed now I'm hoping they upgraded the pump, but I might shop elsewhere... I certainly don't wanna spend upwards of $100 per year on replacement cat fountains. But if you like buying a new fountain every 6mos, then this may be for you! lol, 2 Stars because so disappointed.

I've had this for over a year now and its been wonderful. Very quiet just like it says and its easy to clean and holds a lot of water. I had an issue with the pump about a year after I bought it and TUG sent me a brand new one! Wonderful customer service, will definitely grab another one for upstairs.

This is easy to clean, fill and maintain but, I’ve purchased two of these over a 8 month period. It seems after three/four months the pump stops pumping and makes a “grinding” noise. Straight out of the box it is whisper quiet. I also bought the extra filter kit and change all three every month. I only have one cat and she does love it, just wish it would last a bit longer.

I bought this fountain for my cat for Christmas. He loved it and drank more water, which is what I was hoping for since he loves running water in the sink. Fountain ran great until five months later when the pump started making noise and the water flow was uneven. The noises scared my cat and he stayed clear of the fountain. I cleaned it several times, taking the whole pump unit apart and scrubbing it out with q tips. Nothing helped. Finally I looked up TUG online and filled out their online warranty form. I did’nt expect a response but I got a couple within about 12 hours! After sending me a video on cleaning the pump, which made no difference, the company had Amazon send me a whole new fountain. That arrived 2 days later, I rinsed it out, put all the pieces together, and WOW, I have a new working, quiet fountain. Best of all, my cat went right back to drinking from it! Excellent customer support and hopefully the fountain will run for a long time.

I've wanted one of these cat water foutains forever. And I looked at them forever. I finally decided on this one and it is awesome. It's beautiful and my cat really likes it. I swear he drinks more water out of it than a regular water bowl.The best part, and I didn't realize it when I bought it, is that it lights up at night. Nothing bright but just a nice subtle glow.It's easy to keep clean. I just wash and rinse everything once a week.If you've been contemplating an upgrade to the usual boring water bowl I highly recommend this one.

Worked a couple of months then required every single bit stripping down and cleaning, within about 13 weeks the pump became weak and stopped pumping sufficient strength and also required a full strip down and clean out weekly - what a terrible fuss… for the price this is a total waste of quite a lot of money be sure to read other similar reviews at one star (and there’s a lot of them) the pump is NOT FIT FOR USE

The water fountain looks great and is very quiet. It stopped working and the company contacted me and sent me a video on how to take the water pump apart to see if that would resolve the issue. It’s all up and running again which my cats are pretty pleased with. Very good customer service.

I love the colour/look of this product, it’s so quiet as well (though can hear it more when the water is low). Only downside is there’s nothing to secure the lid to the bowl, so I’ve had a few instances where they’ve knocked the lid lopsided, but the filter still reaches the water so this continues to flow onto my floor. I have to tape all around it to try and prevent this. But it’s great, huge capacity for water and it’s constantly cold for them.

My cat loves this fountain but it suddenly stopped working after about 3 months. I’m going to try to contact the company for a replacement and will report back if all goes well.
