I honestly can't tell if these are the original chocolate eggs, or the new Kraft chocolate - I just know they still taste wonderful!The choc at the top is thick and still gives that satisfying "Toc" sound as you bite it off! I too, remember the scraping of chocolate I had to do in the old days to get through it, like another reviewer - but that might have been because I and my teeth were tiny at the time. Now it just looks like the eggs are tiny - and I've grown! I remember when it was actually hard to get through a whole one. Not any more....This pack on Amazon must be the best value form of buying Cadbury's creme eggs - I've not bettered it! £3.95 for 12- Bargain! I bought these on March 16th 2017 and the date on them is 31.07.17. Plenty of time....

Honestly not sure what all the fuss is about.Yes, they have reduced the quality of the chocolate, but lets face it - Cadburys 'chocolate' is pretty poor anyway.I still love creme eggs regardless. There is still the sickly sweet fondant and as it churns around in your mouth, the blend of chocolate adds to the taste (irrespective of the precise recipe - it still tastes great).Ultimately, the experience is still fun and the recipe hasn't changed the way I eat by scooping my finger in.... lol

Too sweet for me but my wife absolutely loves them ordered 2 packs of 12 and received 5 packs of 5 so very pleased with long sell by date not that will be an issue they will be long gone before then .
