Better fit than they look in the picture
I first came across this make of jeans in a charity shop a couple of years ago, brand new for £3.50 they were my size so I snapped them up........I've worn these jeans for all my traipsing about ( football, pubbing and all sorts) and it was only the other day that I noticed a bit of daylight near the back pocket corners.......I thought it was just general wear and tear of the fabric/seams and fair play ,I had worn them lots...........but it just turned out that I was getting fatter and the poor things couldn't contain the stress no longer and split down the backside. One thing I didn't allow for was the eventual stretching of the waistband over time as, in my haste to order this new pair, I took the waist measurement off the label instead properly measuring my actual waist....doh !Anyway, I'm glad these jeans are still made as they've been the only ones for several years that have fitted me decently...........Just a point about the pictures of the jeans - I think the guy is modelling a pair that is at least a size too long in the leg......my jeans hung much better than that without the baggy bit behind the thighs and the scrunched-up bottoms.......they really do look and fit much better than the pics.Overall, good value jeans

Runs tight
Most of my jeans at home are a 36inch waist. Bought these as something cheap to go with a new years costume, so figured I'd up the waist size as it's a one off to a 38inch waist. I will say I'm not the smallest guy, but I'm hardly fat either. Lets say I've got a muscular build.Anyway. First problem, there is no space in the seat at all. I could barely get the button done up, not because there wasn't space in the waist (I could fit my hand down the back) but because the seat wouldn't allow it. After doing up the button I had to do my best Buffalo Bill impression in order to get the zipper done up, after which I was left walking around like one of the thunderbirds because there was also no leg room.If you're somebody with no ass / legs to speak of, these should be fine for you. If you have any kind of body mass I'd look elsewhere.

A gamble on if the zip isn’t broken...
After buying other, well-known and more expensive brands of jeans which did not retain their colour, I took a chance on these and was pleasantly surprised. However, after a few washes the colour has a blue tinge to it, and the fabric is quite rough to the touch. They are probably best used as work jeans.Update: 1 of the pairs I bought has developed a fault on the zip i.e. broken. Some of the teeth came off and the zip just does not work now. I noticed that the zip quality in general is pretty poor and feels cheap and stiff unlike other brands. These jeans would be better if the zips were higher quality, and you are basically gambling on whether or not you will be getting a zip that won’t break. Spend a few more quid on a different brand for something more reliable.

Designed to fit something not human.
Firstly, the waist is too small for their size. Bought a 46 (I'm a big guy, who happens to be a bit short in stature) and these jeans are more like a 44 if not a 42 waist. The legs are another thing entirely, I bought their "short" leg ones, they certainly weren't short (for clarity I normally fit short legged jeans quite comfortably). The zip alone was about 8 inches long, followed by another good 4 inches of fabric before reaching the point the jeans split out into the legs. I don't know how other people wear jeans, but personally I don't wear them to cover up my nipples... The legs themselves might be short, but the extra length in the zip etc. unnaturally lengthens the jeans.

Good fit on me after a 40° wash.
These jeans have mixed reviews. This is because we all have different body shapes and preferences.I wouldn't describe these as 'heavy denim work wear' more like Levi 505 fit and feel. On arrival they were a bit on the big side, BUT, experience has taught me NEW that jeans often tend to shrink a little. So, after a 40° standard wash they are now a good fit. I would describe these as Levi 505 style high rise - they sit at the mid waist - a nice comfort fit. The only disappointing thing is 2 less belt loops than my Levi's, but at £15 vs £48, I'm not complaining. Plus the light stone wash has a nice vintage aged look. Will definatley buy more 😀

Very slapdash on the size.
Although the length was fine, they were very snug in the crotch and might prove uncomfortable if worn for any length of time. Probably my own fault, although 28" waist is usually fine on me these are not and I should have gone for something roomier like a 30". Next time maybe. By stretching the waist band, I finally got to wear them without them doing any permanent damage to me. The second pair that I ordered, 30" waist and 29" leg, well they were much more comfortable in the waist but way too long in the leg by three or four inches, so beware. They seem well made although the zip fastener tag seemed cheap and feeble, so I wonder what qualifies these as heavy duty.

Too small
I've bought Aztec jeans before and the quality in good, however this time the jeans were way too small. I ordered 34/33, the label showed the correct size but on trying them on the waist must have been 30 and the inside leg 30. I'm assuming this is a mis marked pair of jeans. I gave one star for this reason

Tiny. Buy 3 sizes bigger than you are.
So I bought 2 pairs of Jeans, this black pair and a blue pair. Both 38 inch waist. Both the same cut. The blue, from another brand, fit me fine. These didn’t even go over my hips. I have big thighs, I’m a rugby player who used to cycle a lot, I know that. But these ‘38’ inch waist trousers, completely unfassened, couldn’t get over my hips, my thighs didn’t fit in the legs and the waist was nowhere near 38 inch despite it being labelled as such.
