I am very happy with this enclosure. The quality is great, relatively easy to assemble, great size, and looks awesome! I love the front panel, which is a great way to interact with the enclosure. Also, it's huge! Make sure you measure and plan out where you want it to be. I have yet to come across a good dresser/furniture to put it on so it will be on the floor for now.I watched an YouTube video from a while back of this product, and I am happy to see that the company had made some adjustments and improvements. The hinge on the lid works well for me without issue. They included a couple extra rubber bands and plastic screws and circles.A couple things, I kept on getting scratched by the lid support panels on both sides when I reach in from the top. Right now I have a pretty bad scratch on the back of my upper arm. I ended up sanding down those sharp corners which fixed the issue, which took literally 30 seconds (highly recommended). I hope the company can make that change in the future to avoid injuries. Also the front flap is a little difficult to open, both with moving the 2 small stoppers and moving the panel down. I will likely be gluing some sort of nobs on these 3 things. The front flap feels a little flimsy. We will see how well it holds up over time.Before setting up the cage I taped the bottom seams with paper tape to eliminate any potential gaps. Not sure if necessary. Over all well made and didnt' seem like there's any gaps. Also, all the pieces fit well without excessive struggle.I am very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a adequate living space for a hamster.

We purchased this enclosure for our Syrian hamster. It was the biggest we could afford, and this was the least expensive we could find that still had the quality we desired. My 10 year old helped to assemble it. Super easy. We were able to fit a good size wheel and burrowing material. Our Hammy is super happy. It has good ventilation. We have two cats who check out hammy from the large viewing windows but the lid closes flush and is too heavy for them to try and open. (Still won’t leave hammy alone with them) overall we are all loving this enclosure.

Overall, we’re pretty happy with this hamster home and will continue to use it, but it certainly has several flaws. One of the most frustrating (because it’s painful) is the sharp edges on the 3 “ledges” that are on the top of cage to hold and support the lid when closed. They’re 3 VERY sharp, exposed rectangular pieces and I’ve cut myself on them twice in the first day of having it while reaching in, and it happened to my kiddo too! There’s no reason they need to be sharp and the company really should round these edges in future manufacturing of this cage. I’m going to attempt to sand them down some just so we don’t keep cutting ourselves on it, but I know this will ruin their finish and I shouldn’t have to do this. The second flaw is that I couldn’t get the last side panels attached to this cage because the cut was off and doesn’t quite fit. I tried for hours before finally giving up and deciding I don’t think they harm too much of the overall structure. But, again, as a customer who purchased something, I have the expectations to be able to be construct it fully as is intended.The pros of this hamster home though is that it’s very spacious, and aside from what I mentioned above it was fairly simple to put together and I did it alone without a second person’s help. It maybe took 20-30mins to unbox and assemble. The acrylic clear sides are awesome, both to view our hammy and just a nice overall aesthetic! It does seem like a home that wouldn’t survive moves without being totally taken apart, but I see it being sturdy enough to do it’s job remaining in one place! So even with the flaws, I do still like the cage and don’t regret the purchase. We’ve had it for only a few days now though and using for our winter white hamster, so we’ll see if she chews through any parts like other reviews have mentioned. I don’t really see this being a problem because we lined the bottom with newspaper and lots of bedding so the flooring isn’t easily exposed (though I know hams love to dig).

We got this for a Syrian hamster. We wanted to get him the biggest space possible, and this is way larger than anything they sell at the big-box pet stores for about the same price. We used a piece of cardboard to divide it into two sections. He loves making tunnels in the section with about 10" of bedding. The other side has plenty of room for his other stuff over a couple of inches of bedding. The way we have it set up, he can't reach the lid, but even if he did, I think it would be too heavy to lift. Easy to set up by myself. Not super sturdy, but perfectly fine for a hamster! Wouldn't try a larger pet.

I love this cage, but it is too flimsy, I bought the cage around three months ago and yesterday was the first time I disassembled it and cleaned it, (as it was too flimsy when I received the cage at the first time, so I only clean the cage when it is really too dirty and smelly) although I was already very careful when I was disassembling the cage, one of the bar still broke apart. I need to throw this cage away now as without the bar the cage can’t be assembled together. I have sent message to the seller whether I can get a replacement of the bar but no reply…I told the seller my new email if he/she is gonna reply my message as my old email linked with this Amazon account was being deleted but still I can’t see any reply in my new email, so I guess the seller is not gonna reply my message, and I am going to throw this cage away now, it’s really too flimsy and frangible, if you gonna buy this and do not want to waste money, please be so much more CAREFUL when you touch the cage!
