My child absolutely loved Jennifer Perkins' "Paper and Tape Crafts"! The 28 projects in this book provided hours of creative entertainment without any screens or complicated supplies. She was thrilled to work independently, following the clear and easy-to-understand instructions, and I loved that the projects were mess-free and didn't require much supervision from me.It was so much fun to watch her imagination come alive as she created her own Washi tape stickers, designed a paper bag puppet show, and built a flying paper pterodactyl. This book has great craft ideas for kids using everyday things. My 7-year-old grandson loves to do crafts and went through the book selecting ones he wanted to do. My 4-year old grandson even did a craft and enjoyed it.

This book has a decent amount of paper crafts to have fun with. A handful of these crafts I recall doing in early grade school. Some of the crafts are cool and my toddler will love making the python paper chain snake, or the picture frame for his father or the flip book or the planetary paper. The author is impressive with the the unique ways they have found to be able to explore crafts more and kinda revolve life around crafts which is really cool. This is definitely a unique book with a fun variety of crafts for kids. Although my little one is only 4 he also loves crafts and will have a lot of fun making some of these crafts together. All of them do require scissors so that important to note that these crafts do require hands on attention and supervision. I do wish there was more crafts that were more unique but none the less this still a very fun and cool book with lots to do to entrain a little one who enjoys crafts! I know my kiddo is going to have a lot of fun making some of the cool and fun projects in this book!I remember making a paper chain in early grade school that we used to use to count down to Christmas so this year that will be a fun craft to do.

We love Jennifer Perkins two other books and are so excited to dive into this new one! We made the confetti bookmark straight away and are working on the award ribbon because…. we have most of the materials on hand! Yes! I love not having to make a special trip to the craft store and the possibility of using up the 10000 rolls of washi tape my child has hoarded isn’t too bad either. We keep a stash of Jen’s books for easy b-day gifts, they are always a hit.

As a homeschooling mom, I’m always looking for creative, fun but easy craft ideas for my kids. This book has 28 activities that look really easy to accomplish. My kids are most excited about the Flip-Book of Fun, Folded Fortune Teller and Masked Maker projects. I got this book as a gift for my ten year old niece and she loves it! Paper and tape are supplies that are always easy to come by, and we have a ton of. Everything in this book is achievable and we had a great time. Definitely a great gift for a kid that likes to craft.
