I did a colon cleanse and bought this tributyrin out of curiosity as a follow up effort for better digestion. I'm one bottle into this experiment. I'm pleasantly surprised. Suddenly everything I digest has more impact. All my prescription meds, all my supplements suddenly work better than ever. More energy. Better quality of life.

Generally a good product. Ive bought it many times. Works well. Unfortunately, this time I received a bottle with no shrink wrap around the cap or seal on the bottle mouth. I'm assuming it was a return from someone else that they just sent back out to me.

I got this as a back up to my usual product that my doctor prescribes for me. It is ok, but I feel it minimally improves my acid reflux at best. On the plus side, no side effects or bad after taste with these, so that's good!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Read a lot about the connection between leaky gut and psoriasis. Lots of studies on the positive effects of tributyrun with healing leaky gut so gave it try. Amazing results. Not only what's my dermatologist impressed at how clear my skin looked, but I am over the moon with how soft and smooth my skin is now! Value for money: I previously bought another brand, but this one had higher milligrams say lower dose plus a much better value.

After reading many of the reviews, I thought a better one was needed. I think most people will not need this product in which case it generally should do next to nothing. If you feel worse because of it, maybe you already have plenty or a high amount of butyrate in your gut. Butyrate is created by certain gut bacteria which if you have normal amounts of, and have a reasonably decent diet (check which foods are linked), then you are not likely to have any significant benefit with a supplement. However, most people should be here only because they're trying to solve a serious existing problem. If the problem is related to out-of-balance gut bacteria, then it's possible you may have too little, or a high amount of butyrate in your gut. If you have too little, then this product may be for you as there seems to be several things that may not function correctly with low butyrate. In which case, added butyrate should be a very good thing. The amount of butyrate you need to take will vary. For me, taking this for three weeks may have provided at least a minor benefit but it's too early to know. There's a condition that frequently results in either too much or too little butyrate in the gut, so too little seems to apply to me. I'm used to everything I try only making things worse. My five star rating really isn't, at least yet - I would need to establish that I need it before I could give even a preliminary rating.
