Q: how much does this shoe weigh?

I purchased size 9. Each shoe weighs 13.3 ounces. I’m sure a smaller size would weigh a bit less.

Q: Are these shoes good for all around everyday wear, as well as, light running on mostly flat surfaces?

I have worn them comfortably all day, but not on a regular basis. They are a trail shoe, not a running shoe - especially not on hard surfaces. There is not sufficient cushioning for impact and also the sole will wear out quickly on hard surfaces. You can run on dirt surfaces with these shoes, but like I said they are not designed for pounding impact on hard surfaces.
